Agreement could be signed "by Monday"

So the defining point on police is whether the Serbs can appoint the commander who will enforce the laws of Kosovo in the Serb north now? Boy they have made Pristina really cave. Isn't the KPS commander in the north already a Serb???

This agreenent is Ahtisari Plan 100 percent.
Kudos to both PM who agreed on this.
This is good for majority of peaceloving people in Serbia amd Kosovo.
People like millioners on the North and albanian hateres such as Ari Gold,Mike C,Steve B,Zoran and co are in the minority.
Their sick mind works only for war.
So forget them and celebrate the peace!

If I were Thaqi I would never sign a deal which would enable Serbia to continue placing road blocks in Prishtina's path to become a UN member. Sink or swim together but not the other way at the Prishtina's expense. Why is EU trying so hard to brind Serbia in its own club is a mystery to me. Kosovo has been functioning without Serbias presence for the past 14 years and it will continue to do so. Then why rush to normalize relations now when Serbia is clearly not ready to move an inch away from it past! Anyone cares to explain!

Serbia capitulated. They went from legislative and executive powers to serious powers. It's a done deal. 14 point added as a distraction to give Serbian politicians a way of saying. Hey we did not get all but neither did they lol.

The police commander will apply the rules of Kosova constitution and uphold the rule of the land.

The key point to keep in mind is that whomever is appointed as Police Commander in the North must operate under the laws of Kosovo and is obliged to follow them or be removed from his position. The North of Kosovo will not have any special privileges and will firmly be controlled by the Pristina authorities.

@Une: Hands up. You won. Serb Commander will work according to Kosovo's and not Serbian low. This makes a great difference. It is irrelevant that this is the same low, as it was effectively written by EU for both sides.

You do not understand that with this agreement Serbia will NOT get EU membership. They may not even get a date for ascension talks.

Kosova will join the UN much sooner than Serbia becomes an EU member, if ever.
