There are many pathways, don`t worry Ari Gold. Serbia has alternatives in case of failure Serbia’s EU accession. I hope there wuold be no significant problems and the process will go quickly as much as possible.

Mrkić added that it was not good to say that Serbia’s EU accession would slow down cooperation with the BRICS countries because “those are two complementary pathways”.

What a ridiculous answer. One of those "pathways" are clearly unobtainable without supporting territorial amputation. Serbia should politically ally with whichever countries share its national interests and that is not the EU. So yes, there should be more inter-governmental agreements with BRICS countries. But that does not mean Serbia would in this way alienate investors from the West. That is a whole other process that more has to do with Serbia internally cleaning up its institutions than meetings in Brussels with occupiers.
