Committee chair expects Belgrade-Priština agreement

Milovan Drecun says he expects that Belgrade and Priština will reach an agreement given the progress which was made in the ninth round of the talks.

"Priština is trying to take advantage of Belgrade's readiness for a compromise by imposing unacceptable conditions, such as that we must not prevent their possible membership in the UN," he said.

I don't understand that point at all. Everyone should know that it's not up to Serbia to prevent an UN membership of a breakup state created by an ethnic minority, like Kosovo is - Russia and China will do that.
