Honestly - Kosovo is a province of Serbia.

Agree? - to differ.

Serbia should simply grant Kosovo full autonomy for 100 years and then turn its back on the problem.

It would be then up to the Albanians to prove that they will look after the indigenous Serbs or else the World community would turn on them.

What happens in 100 years time will not be our concern, and there will be time for other developments.

Serbia could start by giving to Albanians in South Serbia the same rights requested for Serbs in North Kosovo. Give to Albanians in Presevo Valley their own police, district court etc. and I have no doubt that an agreement will be reached.

"wants to reach “something that could be called an agreement” with Priština. "

Unusually straightforward for a diplomat - we don't want to be blamed, because then in a couple of years Kosovo would be at the same point in the accession process as Serbia, with both of us looking for a date to start talks.

I think serbia wants to be ride of kosovo.i also think they want to be rid of the albanians of the presevo valley, however in return they want Northern kosovo.I also believe that the kosovar albanians want to be ride of the northern serbs however they would need to give up large mines in northern kosovo and dam as well.if it were not for Trepča Mines this deal would have been done years ago.
