If i was the kosovar side i would not agree to this,if its for the north to be pretty much it own country or to operate within serbian administration a better solution would be for both sides to agree to land swaps of north kosovo for the albanian populated areas of the presevo valley and live happily ever after.If you grant the north vast powers you are setting yourself up for future conflict.

For all arnauts who read this forum, Presevo is in Serbia, and KiM was Serbia and it will be Serbia one day, maybe even sooner then you think.
As soon as western forces finish their game with KiM, you aranauts will be left alone down there on the wind. Remember when they finish we are comming again, and once we come there is no turning back. But this time we will come using no force, only finances and then we come to point of no return.
Dont you think that we are tricked with this Ahtisari plan, we know that last round was just a scene for a public, that a real plan was to Serbia accept Ahtisari plan...but as we know for such a game, we have are tricks too...more red lines...

Serbian requests are reasonable considering Kosovo reality. Based on what can be seen on daily bases in Kosovo, the high level of protection for Serbs is clearly required. I am sure that USA and EU officials appreciate this and that they would be fair and just.

Serbia has not changed its position on Kosovo issue. That must surely mean that Kosovo stands a lot to lose as well as Serbia.

Like I said before be polite , K Albanians. A lot of people read these articles every day. What will they think of you?

@robert1899: I have to disagree with you attaching a label to the whole nation. Every Albanian I know personally is a very nice person. I am sure that Kosovo Albanian leadership understands that they should accept Dacic's requests. I do not think that this a big ask, and it will pay off to Albanians in the future.

Because Serbs in Kosovo and especially north Kosovo lived in Serbia and were Serbian citizens they must be respected when they say will not live without any power and be "governed" by kla terrorists who want to kill them all. Either sebs have power and security or there are no Kosovo Serbs in the north. They can all leave fake Kosovo country and go to Serbia where they will not be under attack 24/7. This is the Belgrade view. Either Serbs in Kosovo have power or Kosovo Serbs become Serbia serbs. Belgrade is desperately fighting for an independent Kosovo state and for Serbs to be self governing there.
