How proud are you of that ethnic cleansing?

Who was cleansed from Vojvodina and when did that happen?

Take a closer look at your relatives from Kosovo. Now let us know what you think of ethnic cleansing there.

"I bet those were Serbs that posted that so it would fuel the fire to minorities. Serbs are 75% of the population or 1,400,000 of vojvodina and then its 250,000 Hungarians in which they don't care and then its the Slovaks with 55,000 and majority of them are 55 years old+ and then there is 45,000 croats and other minorities.but it could be the 2000 Albanians that live there could have posted it.

Why don't you look at the demographics of Kosovo over time. Now that is ethnic cleansing. And Albanians are proud of it, but play the victims.

Time is on our side. Numbers will flip.

'Only thing I'm worried is the manipulation game played by the SNS'

Olli you are not the only one. In their desire to directly control everything at all costs SNS and its rag tag coalition might manufacture real problems - ie the people in Vojvodina become increasingly skeptical of the centre (Belgrade). It wouldn't be the first time something like this happened.

And just as in the past, the same types buy into government led manipulation. You would think that more people would employ their brains - however, maybe the idea is this - get nationalists to transfer their sentiments / focus away from Kosovo to Vojvodina, increasing the chances of being able to do a deal without popular discontent on Kosovo.

The irony is that if the government engineers a groundswell of national based anger, this anger could much more easily be turned against the government. Clearly the government thinks its strategy is smart, even machiavellian but playing with fire....

I can tell you the Hungarian people in Vojvodina, don't want it to split from Serbia because those that already wanted moved to Hungary (since Hungary gave everyone passports/citizenships) - and those that stayed, don't want to be anywhere near hungary, because being a Serb Hungarian is NOT being Hungarian. (FACT, the hungarian people of Hungary don't recognize Serbian born Hungarians as hungarians, rather just Serbians :2cents: )

Oh gee... really something! I'm laughing. The 30 years I've strolled along streets of Belgrade I've witnessed writings of smrt to this and smrt to that on walls. And now suddenly this is a big thing?
Only thing I'm worried is the manipulation game played by the SNS. I wonder who long the wolf stands to hide in sheep's clothes...

Exactly what I was going to say. Some group was paid by either DS or SNS to spray paint that, and 'm pretty confident it was neither the disinterested Hungarian, nor the apathetic Albanian, minorities.

Your right, it could be "Serbs" like Canak, who aren't very Serbian at all. Funny how the LSV and these NGOs only condemn the threats directed at Pajtic...

Rest assure that,
there is an Hungarian conspracy for Hungaria to come for Vojvodina.
