OK,that is your way to fight against inevitable things, ofcourse you can't resign instantly...that would be a nail in the coffin of your life in politics...but...you cant avoid inevitable...sooner or later...that nail will find its place

“As long as it has support in assembly, that it got in the elections in a completely legal and legitimate way, the government in this form will exist and it will consist of parties that make it today. The opposition is aware too that there will be no early elections in the province,” he noted.

Exactly that's how democracy works. Some 1000s of protesters on the streets (especially when it is done in the good old 'Milosevic way', i.e. not local people who voluntarily gather, but masses brought from elsewhere by buses organized by certain parties) cannot topple a legitimate government which has a big majority in the parliament and who came to power in clean an fair elections.

The people of Vojvodina have little in common with Serbs to their South. It is only a matter of time that Serbia will shrink further. The EU will soon condition Serbia being admitted to the "Club" with Vojvodina's eventual independence.

Keep dreaming, need I to remind you that 75%of the population in Vojvodina are serbs? Not even the hungarians, romanians or slovaks has any intentions at all to make Vojvodina independent, this is just the work of greedy politicians nothing more nothing less.

Please explain exactly how those southern and central Serbs have little in common with me? I am from Vojvodina and I think we have a lot in common. But I know you Albanians just love making up stories to fit your ugly little agendas. Vojvodina is going nowhere and me, as someone from there, would support removing autonomy altogether.

If the issue here is money, then the solution is quite simple. Greater powers to local-self government on either the district or municipal level, which are already in place anyway. This way we can test the "autonomists" claim of simply wanting greater local jurisdiction. If they reject, we will know that the issue here is really about separating Vojvodina from the rest of Serbia as much as possible.

Because the only real "Vojvodina Question" is why should it be given special treatment from the rest of the country?

Just love these Albanian comments. It goes to show how much hatred they have for Serbs and I'm glad this is being recorded. As they are not being careful of what they wish for, we can always refer back to these posts when things don't work out well for them.

Now, it is obvious that the ruling coalition do not have the majority of people's support and the people are just seeking a vote. The power-hungry DS, with their deceit and disastrous policies have put Vojvodina where it is now. The time is right for an election so we can remove the shackles placed on the province by the DS.

Let’s clear out what the provincial head is talking about? He mentioned constitutional rights regarding properties, incomes and spendings of province. He claims that Vojvodina gives more than it receives. According to Constitution , The Defense, Foreign Affairs, Public Finance and so on are under the authority of central government. It involves high costs shared in accordance of economic capacity. Everyone gives as much as can but receives equally.

Is this man to be trusted? Few days ago he said that the rally in Novi Sad was organized to encourage violence. Then he claims that draft declaration is protection of Vojvodina’s constitutional and legal rights. Someone may think that he wants more power in relation to Belgrade but most people in Vojvodina know that he is secessionists .

I am quite familiar with Vojvodina, and know many people there, and no one is asking Pajtic to resign, or have new elections. They actually speak a very badly of the SNS coalition that that makes up the republic government. SNS has lost Kosovo, and may not get a date with the EU, so what do the radicals do, turn people's attention to Vojvodina. They are not want there, as last year's election clearly showed.

the economy in Vojvodina is suffering because constitutional guarantees are not respected. And we will not give up protecting the rights of the citizens of Vojvodina,” Pajtić stressed.

I have said for very long time if Serbia’s politicians continue with politics of the middle ages it’s going to end up with nothing.

Remember Holbrook “If Serbia choose KS over the EU, it will get neither” The Hero said that because he knew, as anyone with a bit of brain knows, that if Serbia does not accept today’s reality it will end up with follow the political affairs that shattered FRY (Milosevic’s era).

I think Vojvodina (especially Hungarians) should track sovereignty and become entirely NATO and EU member.

Good luck Vojvodina, my advice don’t give up, but pursue your freedom.
Do not obey the radical politicians of Serbia cause they will get you nowhere.

The new Serbian government has transfered 7%(according to the constitution) to the provincila budget!
The former Serbian DS party government of 2008-2012 NOT ONCE transfered the full amount of 7% but half as much...

The real reason is that pajtic wants corruption investigations stopped against him...

How could you? Once you lose power you will end up in prison for the rest of your life. You may not resign, but you will finish up where you belong. The people of Vojvodina have taken a stand this past weekend: no separatism and no corruption which are extremely tied together. Those who have burned all of Vojvodina's budget surplus are now asking "where is Vojvodina's money??"

They know that separating Vojvodina and thereby enacting a new set of laws, they could possibly get away with this crime. But the people there will not be fooled like the Montenegrins, they see through this.
