Any progress yet on that yellow house case, or maybe now the house turned to be a different color!?
(Ardi Asllani, 14 April 2013 13:57)

You are the one who should know. Don't ask me. It's in your place with your people doing anything for money. Perhaps it's even your home...

According to UNMIK regulations, customs taxes should be collected at all Kosovo boundaries with Serbia for all goods destined to Kosovo. And that is also being done already.

(icj1, 13 April 2013 17:10)

If that is the case why is Prisitna negotiating with Belgrade. Maybe they are collecting from your Albanians as you KP are known to be even bigger gangsters than your thaci, but until an agreement is signed then NO.

Psst your not good at propaganda – you have to be a lot smarter to do that.

Well, let's see. Albanians tolerate selling drugs, stealing from innocent civilians, and illegal organ trade in the middle of Prishtina (Medicus clinic). I sure they can tolerate other "lawlessness".

That reminds me of Serbia, as well as a few other countries :)

Hey Ardi, it's hard to make progress when thug Albanians in conjunction with your elected officials threaten and kill witnesses. But then again, that's how Albanians operate. They never let the rule of law or other democratic principals get in the way of their criminal intentions.

Are you guys still killing each other over your blood feuds? You know the code of Leke Dukagjini. How many Albanian boys can't go out their houses in Northern Albania for fear of one of their neighbors killing them? And you guys think you can run a country? Maybe in another 100 years. Time for you and your prehistoric brethren to join the 21st century Ardi.

For how long will this lawlessness be tolerated by the KFOR and Prishtina it remains to be seen. Surely someone has to think that the current status can not go on indefinetely? Someone in Belgrade must have an honest conversation with the Kosovo Serbs

It will be a long time coming. Because there are too many international hands in the pot and saying we must solve everything with dialogue, talks even if everything is at a stalemate for 20 years. which is where Serbia wants it. They know that they have lost but they want to have the one up and say to their family at the dinner table, we showed those Albanians today.
So dialogue is not going to work, the only reason talks have progressed so far is that suddenly it affects Serbia, always before they never had a reason to give because in the end they lose Kosovo so there was no reason for them to do it anything. But I think they will give IF the EU does not cave.
When the Pristina did try to advance by putting their customs agents at the border and the Serbs reacted with violence and actually killed a police officer, Kfor did nothing, but I think it was actually a staged action to get dialogue going on the north. I think all parties were aware before it happened even Belgrade and may have been suggested by them as a way to launch things.

If these so called Mayors have seen some movement, it is correct. But, today 8(eight) KP officers were arrested for assisting Serb criminal entrepreneurs that smuggles fuel and other goods, threw alternate roads in the northern Mitro.

"“ROSU are patrolling along roads which Serbs see as a provocation and a possibility that the unit will repeat a forcible entry just like in July 2011 when it tried to take over the north by force,” he stressed"

I'm not sure what "take over the north by force" means! Serbs could probably be so kind to explain.

According to Kosovo's constitution, each municipality in Kosovo can manage it's own local affairs and Serbs in North Kosovo are doing that already.

According to UNMIK regulations, customs taxes should be collected at all Kosovo boundaries with Serbia for all goods destined to Kosovo. And that is also being done already.

So, not sure what's to "take over by force" in the North!

This reminds me of the events in Croatia. This is exactly how the Serb rebellion begin. We never recognize the authority of the state of Croatia and blah blah. Things escalated and several years later thousands of people were dead and Croatian army marched in by force. Where ever the Serbs live they seem to have a hard time adapting to the new reality of living under someone elses authority.

For how long will this lawlessness be tolerated by the KFOR and Prishtina it remains to be seen. Surely someone has to think that the current status can not go on indefinetely? Someone in Belgrade must have an honest conversation with the Kosovo Serbs

There is no RSOU in the north Kosovo at the moment, unles Serbs play out with this and dress up like them, knowing Serbs anything is possible.

just a thought

"primarily KFOR, would not take the Kosovo institutions’ side like in 2004 and that they will respect the mandate given to them in accordance with the UN Security Council Resolution 1244."
An odd statement as if they follow Resolution 1244 they would be taking the side of the Kosovo institutions.
It is the north of Kosovo that has been the outlyer of 1244 for the last 14 years. Kosovo Police Service is the police force developed by UNSC 1244 and is suppose to be the only police force in all of Kosovo.
Maybe if Kfor printed up copies of UNSC 1244 and dropped it among the citizens of north Kosovo so they could actually read it instead of blindly following their leaders on what it says, maybe a few things would be cleared up.

Vasić reiterated that Serbs would not accept integration into the Kosovo authorities’ system “at any cost”.

If you can do it then I do not see the meaning of "negotiations"...
