Deputy PM believes “deal with Priština will be reached”

Serbia’s Deputy Prime Minister Suzana Grubješić believes that an agreement between Belgrade and Priština will be reached.

What has she done to get bg closer to Brussel? Seriously. She is like the assistant to the assistant.

Since Suzana appeared in news on B92 her message was always the same: "I am convinced that this time we will get a date" or "I believe we soon get a date". It looks like they assigned one unique task to her to repeat it again and again to generate optimism. Judging from her look she looks rather depressed than somebody who truly thinks that the so ardently desired date is "just around the corner".

It is important for the govt of Serbia to convince the world they are STILL trying to resolve the issues with Kosovo.
1. That is the only way to keep the EU door open and funds flowing.
2. If the talks come to an end, those countries that were waiting for some type of agreement will be making a decision on recognition. Also pressure will be applied to the remaining EU countries to make a unanimous stance on Kosovo.
