Anyone who believes that money grows on trees is a simpleton. And sadly there are many Albanian simpletons.

I’m not an economist or stock broker and I only give my opinions based on what I see every day.

The problem with Albanians commenting here is that not one has ever worked in either middle or senior management position in government nor have they ever set foot in a boardroom. Most can’t tell the difference between spin and reality.

Show us some balance sheets then.
(Ian, UK, 13 April 2013 16:24)

Here a balance sheet for you boy. Members of the EU are indebted between 80” to 85% of GDP, while the US is at about 110%
(sj, 14 April 2013 00:23)

Ok, let’s help the CE of B92 forums sj a bit here because he/she is used with the Malaysian accounting standards and not the accounting standards that the rest of the world applies. So, for a starter, a balance sheet shows the balance of liabilities AND assets as of a given date. GDP is not a balance sheet item; it is an income item. In more simple terms, you cannot say “GDP as of a date”; it is “GDP during a time period” – GDP is not a balance or stock as of a given date; it is a flow during a timeframe.

Just as a preview, according to Vuk's UN (*):
http://cl.ly/1l0n46300T3F/Inclusive-Wealth-Report-2012-UNU-IHDP-UNEP-High-Res-updated-25-July.pdf

for example, for US, in 2008, the total wealth per capita was $ 386,351, whereas China's was $ 15,027. However, there is reason for hope because in 1990 US was 33x better than China; in 2008 it was just 26x better. So, in a few centuries China should be able to catch up.

(*) NOTE WELL: this source has not been vetted or approved by the CE of B92 forums sj and/or by his/her Malaysian friend, so if there is any discrepancy with sj's analysis, sj's analysis shall prevail.

So, can you illuminate the members of this forum with some other balance sheets measures, dear ?

Serbia needs EU funding – What funding is that when Brussels does not have enough to save Cyprus?????
(sj, 14 April 2013 00:12)

I’m going to take it that the above was a lapsus… You meant to say that Russia did not have enough to save Cyprus or, actually, its own citizens’ deposits there.
----------

It’s the Russians that gave Belgrade the green light to walk away from the talks LOL, LOL.
(sj, 14 April 2013 00:12)

That’s great… Kosovo is also doing LOL LOL for Serbia not joining the EU. Kosovo and you share the same goals as far as Serbia’s EU membership goes.

How is the US going with North Korea? I hear that Kerry has already worn out several pants at the knees grovelling to Beijing begging them to intervene. Yeah Serbia is checkmated.
(sj, 14 April 2013 00:12)

US is doing terribly in North Korea. It was an astounding defeat as US was not able to prevent North Korea's mighty armed forces from going to war against US to defend Kosovo for Serbia. Thanks to North Korea’s support, Kosovo is now Serbia and Serbs rule Kosovo.

Care to read your own statement, I do not think you are going to fool anyone with that one.

"I have to admit that generally I don’t not associate with stupid people, but the Albanians posting comments here are in a class in their own."
When you use a double negative it means the opposite so you really said "that generally I do associate with stupid people"
I think most here will agree with that statement!
This with the other comment, maybe you should just go back to bed and try again tomorrow.

Here a balance sheet for you boy. Members of the EU are indebted between 80” to 85% of GDP, while the US is at about 110% (they just print more money because in 2008 the US economy was 14 trillion but in 2012 it was 16. You don’t get such an increase during a depression).
The UK is 82% in debt and its civil service have not had a pay rise since 2010 while prices have risen dramatically. In late March 2013 your treasury decide that any civil servant who gets a promotion then all benefits will be taken away to compensate.

I have to admit that generally I don’t not associate with stupid people, but the Albanians posting comments here are in a class in their own. “the invasion of north Kosovo” is a story started by the Serbs. Hey what is Thaci the Thug going to invade that part? Riding on jackasses? What do you think for one moment that the west has given Albanians that type of equipment? No my little naive friend they have not. To “invade” you would have to ask NATO to do that job not a bunch of goat herders called ROSU; these people are not even properly trained as riot police let alone an army.
Cyprus is a tax dodge haven and the banks bought Greek bonds and when the EU wrote off part of their debt Brussels promised to compensate Cyprus – it did not. That is why you have the problem there. Why would Russia pour money when it’s the EU which carries the debt here? The EU revealed that they were not able to do just that as they did not have the funds.
It’s the Russians that gave Belgrade the green light to walk away from the talks LOL, LOL.

How? When the Turks wanted to move through Serbia on their way to Europe, nobody stopped them. (Anyway, Serbia and the rest of the Ottoman Empire in the Balkans was known as the Near East until recently.)

Now what about Kosovo? With the EU in such a peril and the US out of the question of helping, the budget for Kosovo is either maintained by EU countries shutting down home programs and reallocating those resources to Kosovo or Kosovo’s budget gets cut very deeply and thus making Kosovo an impoverished African-like state in Europe.

By the way this was turned down by Kosova today. You got some ridiculous clowns in Belgrade. How the f... would one talk to those who killed you for years without another party being a guarantor that what is agreed will be applied? Especially knowing that Serbia likes to translate things their own way, like UNSC 1244 for example. There is a version for everyone else and then there is a version that Serbs alone have. Who in their right f..ing mind would agree to talk to such people without the presence of world decision making parties that sees right through the Serb BS. This proposal coming from Serbia that "guaranteed" Kosova's autonomy in the 90's. Not only that but coming from the exact same people that guaranteed it and the didn't guarantee it thinking nobody was watching them. You must be crazy. This wasn't even a good try from Dacicu. You can talk to yourself without a mediator as long as you want.

The message is quite simple when you think about it. Reconciliation will come without the interference of Western nations. They, in fact, started the conflicts and have kept the divisions in place to protect their own interests.

It was heartening to see a Bosnian Muslim at the annual remembrance of the NATO train bombing in KiM. This is an olive branch being offered and it is time to admit that we Balkan people can and have lived happily together.

Remove western interference and we will happily manage our problems. But, align yourself to the west and you will end up being the biggest loser.

Naturally Belgrade will take part in the talks, but let’s face it they will go nowhere. Belgrade never had the slightest intension of giving any concessions on Kosovo and they know that no one will even put a shovel in the ground unless an agreement is reached.
Even if that nauseating Catherin Ashton continues with this nonsense Belgrade will be there to take part in discussions but nothing will happen. Next we will get the “fatherly “advice from EU countries to accept the offer on Kosovo as we have seen the Us just do yesterday, then there will be stern warnings to Serbia, accept or the sky will fall in. After all that Brussels will give concessions, big ones for that matter, very big and ones that the Washington windbags will not like at all.
In the meantime what happens to Kosovo? Let’s look at the situation in the EU. Most countries are either bankrupt or on the verge of bankruptcy with Cyprus showing the vulnerability of the EU because it has no money left. The next crisis is Slovenia and it has been warned by the banks to seek help now and not wait until September.

I have to admit that generally I don’t not associate with stupid people, but the Albanians posting comments here are in a class in their own. “the invasion of north Kosovo” is a story started by the Serbs.

In more simple terms, you cannot say “GDP as of a date”; it is “GDP during a time period” – GDP is not a balance or stock as of a given date; it is a flow during a timeframe.

http://cl.ly/1l0n46300T3F/Inclusive-Wealth-Report-2012-UNU-IHDP-UNEP-High-Res-updated-25-July.pdf

for example, for US, in 2008, the total wealth per capita was $ 386,351, whereas China's was $ 15,027. However, there is reason for hope because in 1990 US was 33x better than China; in 2008 it was just 26x better. So, in a few centuries China should be able to catch up.

Who in their right f..ing mind would agree to talk to such people without the presence of world decision making parties that sees right through the Serb BS. This proposal coming from Serbia that "guaranteed" Kosova's autonomy in the 90's.
