So was Kosovo part of Yugoslav territory then or not?
If yes, then, there you have it.
Respect the territorial integrity of Yugoslavia, which means respect the fact that Kosovo is part of that territory.
So what happened to that respect?
(Peggy, 13 April 2013 10:18)

Two things happened.

1) Ask Montenegro. Once Jugoslavia totally dissolved there was no more Jugoslavia. There is nothing there about respecting Serbia. Especially since this was a conflict with Jugoslavia and not just Serbia. Once the other parties in Jugoslavia left and could care less about Kosova, there was no need to ignore their wishes and put the wishes of Serbia on a pedestal. Simple. There is nothing there about respecting Yugoslvia till eternity either( it no longer exist). It specifically states until a decision has been made; doesn't mention that neither Serbia nor Kosova would have to both agree on this decision.

2) Serbia passed a constitution which pre-emptively tried to settle the status in the middle of status negotiations. This was passed without any input from Kosova at all. In fact Kosova Albanians were not even included in the voting list. This unilateral move from Serbia was prior to the declaration of independence. This meant that Serbia violated international rules. As such an agreed solution was no longer possible with a party, Serbia, that had just violated the international rules during status dialogue. Blame Kostunica. He's the one trying to one-up the world. He got one up there.

Hey Lenard, Dodik is the most feared man by Croats & Muslims in the Balkans. Look at what has happened in Bosnia: Serbs control 49% of the territory with approximately 38% of the population and Croats make up approximately 11% down from 21%. Croats are leaving B-H everyday because they refuse to live with their former allies, the Muslims and they sure aren't coming to RS.

So you see Lenard, Croatia's grand plan of Herceg-Bosna (Greater Croatia) totally backfired. The west chose sides and the Bosnian Serbs prevailed. They now control more territory than they did prior to the war while the Croat population continues to dwindle. Dodik is the strongest leader in B-H and the west can't influence him. In reality, the west helped create a Greater Serbia in Bosnia with their flawed policies. And soon there will be no more Croats left in B-H. Just think, the birthplace of Ante Pavlic and home of the Ustasha regime will soon be void of Croats. Beautiful, don't you think Lenard? Cheers!

I posted a response to your statements about Ramboullet and Ahtisaari but it is under a different article, the one about the Deputy Secretary of State saying Serbia should accept the EU proposal on Kosovo.
Instead of reposting it here if you are interested you can read it there, if not don't bother.

"Amazing",

Yugoslavia rejected "Rambouillet" so how can that aggressive ultimatum, that was just designed to attack Yugoslavia (because it was crafted such that any dignified and sovereign country would reject it and even then Kosovo Albanian did not negotiate because they were told to behave like spoiled children), be part of any basis? "Rambouillet" and "Ahtisaari" are just part of the same old junk pile of Western toilet diplomacy that only serves an imperialistic agenda based on false democracy and that people like to keep referring to.

Really amazing. The version of UN1244 I know doesn't 'guarantee' anything, it only mentions respecting the territorial integerity of (then) YU, and it says that the province of Kosovo is put under temporary UN administration until a mutual agreement has been found
(Comm. Parrisson, 12 April 2013 16:42)
You know I agree no where in the 1244 does it guarantee anything, which is why so many say that Serbs must posess a different copy of 1244 that no one else sees because they constantly say that it does.
But you are wrong also that no where in 1244 does it say "mutual agreement"
It says
"Facilitating a political process designed to determine Kosovo's future status, taking into account the Rambouillet accords (S/1999/648);"
And the Rambouillet accords says about the final settlement.
"An international meeting will be convened after 3 years to determine a mechanism for a final settlement for Kosovo. The will of the people will be an important factor at the international meeting."
I don't believe that anywhere it says the final settlement has to be mutually agreeable for that matter it does not specifiy that either Serbia or Kosovo must be in agreement.

Lenard

The RS president then added that "America has also found itself in quagmire due to early recognition of Kosovo's independence disregarding (UNSC) Resolution 1244 which guarantees territorial integrity of Serbia and high autonomy for Kosovo." O well now America can shift to that criminal aggression war expansionist Greater Serbia aka "Srbska entity" in the victimized country of Bosnia. That majority of Bosnia's do not recognize or Croatia. Both parliaments refuse to ratify the Serb criminality the likes not seen since WW2. Dodik you are next mother hive Serbia will abandon you its broke and its little monstrosity needs cash transfusions to keep the delusion going. What ever Serbs/Serbia do it's underpinnings are criminally inspired even it feeds on it self with corruptions.

That's right bucko! And this is why Albanians could give a rats a$$! if Serbia signs an agreement or not. The Serbs will continue living in their self imposed ghettos bleeding Belgrade dry for money money money!!
(Captain America, 12 April 2013 15:32)

Not really. Belgrade is bled dry by bureaucracy. The government is the right size for a country of 100 million people not 8. Trust me man, its Serbian corruption that leaves with whatever you are holding onto. Belgrade could easily have enough to finance the lives of Serbs in KiM. It should even pay Serbs who are living in southern enclaves to continue living there.

But the North is out of reach to you. Your "army" does not have the means to impose itself in Mitrovica. The mass exodus was supposed to go down on April 9th. I think it was actually you who said it was going to happen. But Serbs are still there and its the 12th where I am??
