"Even though he won the court case, Wasserstrom is not satisfied with the awarded damages of USD 65,000 - a mere two percent of what he was seeking. He asked U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry to withhold 15 percent of its contribution to the UN budget as required by U.S. law, writes Reuters."

Hmmm, that would be a problem... withholding of 15% of US' contribution to the UN budget means that UNMIK would be shut down for a couple of years, unless, of course, Serbia would be generous enough to pay for it.

Nothing new. Nothing strange.
It is not better in Serbia (see the whole anticorruption "efforts" of this government) or in North Kosovo (see B92 excellent program they realized) or in Grecce, in Ciprus, in Macedonia, in Albania.
Same sh...t!
Welcome in Balkans!

The corruption in Kosovo goes very deep, and spread across the entire landscape of Pristina officials, UN officials, Eulex, diplomats and military, and governments, you name it. Actually, it may not be anyone's interest for the Kosovo issue to ever be solved.
