No doubt. The majority of Orthodox Slavs in Montenegro chose to stay in the state union. But you had the hostile Serbian minorities in the republic team up with the small but powerful Titoist descendants who had an indoctrinated belief that Montenegrins represented a separate nation from the rest of Serbs.

Montenegro will eventually come home.. However next time around I'd only accept it as a integral unit of the Republic of Serbia and not a republic of equal status with Serbia.

Monte-Serbs have earned their right to calling Montenegro home we should never deny them that. 2 countries with 1 people works in both our favors anyway. When people act as one what difference would it make?

Montenegrins and Serbs are identical, they share same religion, traditions, culture, language, history... etc they will continue to be united in their hearts even after breaking apart..

Montenegro's referendum to separate from Serbia back in 2006 was also won by a 0.5 percent.

I am going to go out on a limb here and state that the Kosovo Albanians also had dual citizenship back then as well. Fo the referendum election results, see the attached link .

"Council of Europe and OSCE monitors said on Monday that the elections were carried out professionally and efficiently "from the technical standpoint", and that fundamental rights were "for the most part observed".

Bullshit, there is no way, they could have observed professional! Efficiently, yeah in cheating they are very effective (even though they needed 28 hours to find enough ballots to annul to be able to win). Its unprofessional to import people (albanians from Kosovo) give them the right to vote, to give dead people a vote, to force (and pay) people to vote, to block and prevent other people voting.

Council and OSCE do not support democracy in this part of the world, not as long as the democratic forces (the people) are not blinded by the lies of EU/WEST.
