Nonsense. Serbia has enough support to keep the KLA from getting a UN member seat for eternity. The "recognition" you have is not a sign Serbia being isolated, but rather the West trying to prop up a project they created a long time ago and attempting to put an end to this status. Most of your "recognition's" were bought with heroin money and with humanitarian donations which Western NGO's and unsuspecting Western taxpayers give to you..again for now. Most of those "recognition's" (although they don't need to be) could be purchased back for the right price.

It is not Serbia that needs these talks. Serbia as poor and corrupt as it is, is still a real country. Kosovo i Metohija is not only the poorest and most corrupt region in Serbia, but also in all of Europe. It is your KLA that have not built anything except for Vilas for themselves in Kosovo i Metohija and they realize if Serbia does not capitulate now, it will be over for them because Western handouts are drying up.

As our CE of the B92 forums sj has already determined, the EU, West, US and everybody which has recognized Kosovo have collapsed and are broke and Serbia, Russia and China are the only superpowers with unlimited cash. I think, or dear friend Ari Gold already gave the answer of what will be then: the poorest and most corrupt region in Serbia, but also in all of Europe. So no sane Serb would want that back…

In addition, I’m not sure why Serbs place so much value on American support when our brilliant CE of B92 forums sj has already determined that America has collapsed and is broke. Serbs should place more value on the support of real superpowers like Russia and China which represent the future of mankind and have Serbia as their top national priority.

There was and there is no other alternative for Albanians Jovan. Serbia did not honestly offer anything for Albanians other than death or one way trip to Albania.
If those two alternatives are inevitable anyone would want to make one of those choices rather later than now.

Although still poor, Kosovo is centuries better than it was under Serbian yoke. If you have ever visited Kosovo before and you visit it now it would not be hard for you to see the differences.
Go to Gracanica for starters. Since the day its citizens accepted to participate in the elections for the local power of new municipality, it has turned to construction site. New buildings, new roads, neat sidewalks all these things characterize Gracanica now. There are even new private beatiful houses people are building in Gracanica now, unlike the time of the enclave life.

These are very hard times for the Serbs. It is getting harder and harder. Their top politicians seem to be in never ending marathon meetings. Total helplessness and uncertainty. The ton of Serbian commentators was never so desperate and irritated.....no meaningful comments anymore, just name calling. The fact that Russia and China are standing behind them with "unlimited cash" - I quote - and "the USA/EU are bankrupt" - I quote - doesn't seem to help. This is more than strange.
