Serbian Prime Minister Ivica Dačić has stated that Serbia could hardly accept Brussels' proposal on Kosovo because it would be impossible to be implement it.

Why is so hard to implement the agreement? One way or another, parallel structures will have to leave from Northern Kosova or face the rule of law of RKS.

It will get easier, once the EU declares the talks are at an end due to Serbia, pressure will be placed on the EU countries to have a unanimous stand, all countries in the world that has been holding off recognition until the talks ran its course will now start making decisions yes or no.
After 25-30 new recognitions, it will be impossible for Serbia to garner any support for Kosovo.

Preserve what security? You Serbs have until now, been stating that the situation in northern Kosova' is tense, with daily bombings & shootings, and Serbs are being targeted by unknown assailants! Until the KSF secures northern Kosova, it is impossible for political & security stability to exist in this part of Kosova's territory! The KSF, should receive the green light, so that she may re-establish law & order in this part of Kosova.. Additionally, it should be made clear to Serbia, that the international community will not allow Serbia to interfere, in sovereign Kosovas internal problems, period!!!

Man up a bit Dacic I would'nt worry about Serbia being declared 'unconstructive' your counter claim is that the deal was unpragmatic. The EU is an Economic union not a political one what happens in Kosovo should have no bearing on Serbia's road map to EU membership. First clarify the obstacles to EU and ensure that they are not linked to Kosovo ( use diplomacy to get EU members on side) before commencing negotiations.
There's no hurry let Thaci enjoy the benefits that 'independence' has bought him. We live in a global economy Serbia does not need the EU to survive what it needs are economic policies and a legal framework that allows business to invest and grow and you don't need the EU to do that!

Dacic the negotiations failed due to the Serbian unprofessional and nonconstructive way of negotiating.

Again the real decision maker was in Belgrade and the actor in Brussels. Same story of Rambouyete, Wiena now in Brussels. For each point of negotiations Dacic was asking for pauses to consult with the decision maker in Belgrade. This is not professional and honest way from the state of Serbia. Kosova send the guy that can decide right there- Serbia was hiding.

Said that, I completely agree with the Serbian requests. Serbia is saying north of Kosova is mine. You don't want us to say it clearly well then in these negotiations I will demand such things that will again lead to the same outcome: north is Serbian. Thus only Serbian laws can be implemented, Serbian police, judiciary,etc. On the map you can keep it as part of Kosova but in the real life that is Serbia.

And I agree with it.

Thaci and the international community are dishonest with Serbia in this case. North is Serbian and Presheva valley is Albanian. Land swap and enough of this BS.

Both sides have much more important problems than forcing people on their land to accept something they don't want.

North Kosova has territorial continuity with Serbia and is of majority Serbian so her union with Serbia is not traumatic at all for anyone.

Presheva valley is overwhelmingly Albanian and it has territorial continuity with Kosova, so no trauma there neither.

It only needs bit of good will and sens of reality.

Of course, even though not just "a number" but "an agreed number" (as the Arabic, Chinese, Englihs, French, Russian and Spanish versions of UNSCR 1244 state - not sure about the Serbian one).

Presevo valley is not albanian majority. Bujanovac and Medvedja has a serbian majority by far and in Presevo its about 50 50.

It cant be implemented when there is no proposal on table. There was just "non paper thing" which even can not be repeated because of its unknown content. There was nothing to choose so how to expect to implement something that doesnt exist. Serbia must refuse this kind od agreement because accepting such proposal collapses statehood and constitution of the state. Serbia must return to negotiations but to create awareness of the audience in positive way for her self. That is only possible if we return with negotiations under coverage of UN. State management has made ​​the right decision in rejecting this rude message from EU.

No yellow brick road for Serbia - not yet! Serbia's hardship is not yet going to end! There is no ultimate solution for this situation, I hope we can all understand that much - there's only a step out of this devastating and tiresome process. It's easy to sit, stare at your desktop and blabber about right things to do and talking some "big, macho, "I-could-do-it-rigt" politics!!! i think these guys (well, at least some them) deserve some credits for being in this freaking show! I am sure they're competencies and attitudes (not necessarily, publicly presented ones) are fit for this role!
