@Xhevdet Hoti

Your candor and tone is welcomed, but I simply disagree that the solution on the table is best for all parties.

China, Russia et alia WILL support a carve-up of Kosovo (app. 15% of Kosovo to Serbia), which I believe to be the most long-lasting solution.

Other issues such as minority and property rights as well as protection of cultural and religious monuments in the other areas of Kosovo can be resolved with less difficulty.

This negotiation is a farce. It is theater to implement a US imposed solution.

I am sure most Serbs would disagree when I say that they are in denial and refuse to accept reality. - Let's hope for our sake (Albanian) sake and the Serbian sake, the politicians will sign the agreement and once and for all stop lying to the Serbs that Kosovo is theirs, because it is not. I know as far as Serbs are concerned carving Kosova and taking Mitrovica would have been an ideal solution since Kosova is gone but it appers that no other country (except Serbia of course) is accepting that as a solution therefore Mitrovica is slipping away as well. I am not entirely sure how a county and its population can be so brainwashed and misfed with false hopes when there had four wars that were initated and lost by Serbia. - How, as a Serb living in Serbia are you convinced that thinks are OK and Kosova belongs to Serbia and Serbia doesnt need EU and the economy will do fine trading potatoes with Russia when you have so much information out there (outside of Serbia) that proves otherwise. I would have been offended if Thaqi today told us Presevo is ours when it is not. Why arent you offended by all the lies you are fed daily?

" suspension of the integration means putting long awaited reforms on hold because reforms come to the forefront only in the negotiating process. Unlike other countries, we have so far had to solve political issues and the reforms have been in the shadow of difficult political decisions,” Grubješić

No this is a self defeating approach if these reforms are truly in Serbia's interest there is no need to delay. Whats more talks over the EU know where Serbia stands so if it truly beLIEves and wants Serbia (plus the rest of region) to be part of the club then Serbia needs to show it will do all reforms on its own back for good of Serbia and will stand by its principle. Foreign investment will follow regardless of next EU step because of these reforms simplifying and setting legal frameworks for business to work with. We have the human resource, the Support of friends such as Slovakia who would guide Serbia in the reforms process, heck even Croatia even understansd the importance of cross-border cooperation and increasing trade as well as reforms.

These reforms are essential the EU acession is not - ask Turkey.

Investment follows profit not EU club membership - whatever that might mean given the EU is stuck in its own inertia of mismanagement, overspending, unaccounted finances and beauracratic red tape all halting growth.
