"EU cannot help you - join Russia's life force"

A Russian dominated bloc? That is a great idea, why hasn't it been tried before I wonder?

Oh wait... The Russian Empire, USSR, Warsaw Pact ect.

What does "Russia's life force" even mean? Is he referring to the Paradise which Belarus, Central Asia, Abkhazia, South Ossetia and Transnistria and live in?

Ivan, you have wild dreams.
I will turn the question around. Do you really think Russia is going to risk WW3 so that Serbs can thump their chests???????
As far as which NATO nation will stop Russia from putting Nuclear Missiles in the middle of Europe, all of them!
Russia has already shown how far it will go for Serbs, remember when North Kosovo Serbs ask for Russian citizenship to secure "protection" actually thinking they could become masters of Kosovo. Russia said it was impossible. When the French actor wanted to obtain Russian citizenship to avoid paying taxes in France. Putin himself presented him with his citienship papers eventhough he readily admitted he had no intention of living in Russia.
Can you name one thing Russia has done for the Serbs in Kosovo besides jaw flap?
Yes Russia likes to try and embarass the US but by doing things like threatening a veto in UNSC, Military interventions is a whole new playing field and the only people that are talking about that are Serbs not Russians.

Too many anti Serb and Anti Russian comments here from non Serbs. I think the worry factor is appearing.
EU is virtually on its last legs, NATO have failed in Afghanistan, Syria and Iraq. Serbia reject the EU protect your sovereignty as a British MP recently advised..

“Russian Ambassador Aleksandr Chepurin says that Serbia should "join the life force of Russia" because the EU cannot provide it with rapid economic development.”

Sure, we saw what happened with Cyprus, when it begged Russia for help! Only some Serbs failed to see that because, as usual, when they don't like the reality they see, they prefer to create a parallel virtual reality :)
----------

"Chepurin was further quoted as saying that Resolution 1244 of the UN Security Council was the only document that regulates the status of Kosovo"

Even Russia is considering Serbia's Constitution dead letter in regards to Kosovo calling on Serbs to respect Resolution 1244 as the ONLY document that regulates the status of Kosovo and abide by UNMIK regulations which mandate that customs duties be collected for goods destined to Kosovo.
----------

"Regardless of what anyone is saying about a change in the situation, there is that one document and no other, by which the international community determined its position on Kosovo and Metohija, Chepurin said."

Exactly… Not just the international community, but Kosovo as well, determined it’s declaration of independence in accordance with UNSCR1244.

The Russians can do what they please and go where they want. I ask you, which Nato country would have the guts to stop them? Do you really believe that some country will risk WWIII for some albos? The problem once again is, that the Serb leadership does not have the guts. How many times have the Russians stated that no one has called for them? Give them the green light and we'll talk then, otherwise, go back to your fantasy land.

So he is there one day before the last round of talks. what might this mean? Maybe he is there for assuring the local "businessman", no matter what happens tomorrow Russia is with you? Or for giving directives for what will happen after tomorrow? Konuzin used to show up there before and after important events too.

It is so cute when Serbian children post such things, makes you realize what a sheltered life they live shielded from the complicated world. You must be in the party that thinks that the gas line running through Serbia will enable it to control Europe by turning off the gas anytime they are happy.
Lets entertain you do you think that should Russian actually place nuclear missiles in Serbia they would allow a Serb access to them????
But in reality there is less chance of Russia putting missles in Serbia than in Cuba. You notice when they tried that lasted a very very short time.
There is a huge problem also Serbia is completely surrounded by Nato or Nato friendly countries and there is no way Russia could get permission to fly missiles through their airspace.
So invite all you want.

I wonder what this membership entails? A while back, the Kosovo Serbs requested to be a Russian province however, that was declined. Perhaps the entire Serbia (Kosovo included) would have had to join before we would be considered for such a status. The Serb leaders lack backbone though. Nikolic's first visit as a president was Russia, later, he had to declare it as unofficial. I wonder, what type of pressure was imposed by the axis to make this coward do an about face when he is/was being supported by the strongest economical and military power? The lack of leadership will eventually be the demise of Serbia. They are spineless and corrupt. What in God's name is preventing them from just inviting the Russians into Serbia, setting up nuclear bases, and becoming a powerhouse? They will then have the economy, financial support, and "nukies" at their disposal. Is losing the entire country a better option for these incompetents, since this is what is in store for us by the EU. That is one of the reasons why I support the Radicals. They are the only party that truly has Serbia's interest in mind, the rest are just B/S!

Makes sense!
Russia is an up and coming super power with virtually endless potential and resources!
Besides, its painfully clear that the German let EU is no friend of Serbia!

I don't see EU countries like Greece, Spain, Portugal, Italy and Cyprus enjoying the glorious EU wonderland!
The EU is a sinking ship and the rats are all starting to run!

Its just a matter of time before the rest of the EU starts to grovel towards Russia.
Serbia needs to take the initiative and turn towards Russia before the others!
(So sad, Too bad

I bet you can't tell me what makes Russia an up and coming superpower!!!!

For good or ill, the world is divided into blocs. Military blocs such as NATO and economic blocs such as the EU. Serbia has been bombed and is currently occupied by NATO so that bloc is not available. The EU supports NATO and promotes Serbia's enemies every chance it gets, so this bloc is obviously no good to Serbia.

It is open to debate if Serbia should join an economic and military alliance with Russia. However, membership of NATO and the EU is clearly not in Serbia's interest.

As long as Serbia has dreamers like you, Kosovo has no worries. You are too busy in the fantasy world to be of much concern. You could possibly see Russian nuclear missles in Serbia after you see Nato nuclear missles in Georgia. Do you see that in the future.

Make Russia our,economic,military,political ally !

We MUST get the Russians to open up several nuclear missile bases on Serbia`s soil, after that we will have one day the opportunity to mobilize our army and, under the Russian coat, once and for all finish off the Albanian terrorists now occupying our southern province!

The opportunity will come in 20-30 years,we Serbs should be prepared for now!

Excellent! But the question remains, who gave "permission" for the Russian ambassador to visit Kosovo i Metohija? Yesterday I was told "well ambassadors visit all the time blah blah" but why, if the institutions in Pristina really run the show, would they ever in a million years allow the ambassador to "another country" from a country that is hostile to Albanian interests in Kosovo i Metohija come and speak to "parallel" institutions in the north?

Tough pill to swallow. No one can give me a straight answer.

Why don't you ask Russian ambassador himself. You know very well that his predecessor was turned back at the border, when he tried to enter Kosova without permission. How soon you forgot?
