I strongly believe Mr. Vucic is capable and capacited to evaluate strengths and weaknesses of his participation in this final stage of the negotiations. However, it is not an easily accepted role...being the one to put your signature on the finalization of negotiations and the Resolution that's already been humiliating for Serbia in so many different ways. I just think we should go for whatever is the best possible way out of this tiresome and devastating process.

It is entirely inappropriate for EU and USA to ask and to suggest who should negociate for Serbia.Serbia should never forget who they nogotiate with and why.Until the treaty, ending the conlict in Kosovo is signed, Kosovo Albanians with their friends who bombed Serbia are our enemies.Who ever represent Sebia in these nogotiation should be decided by Serbian Government alone. The outcome of these ngotiations should not alter the the territorial integrity of Serbia as specified in UN resolution 1244

I believed in Vucic and his potential even before he came to power, but I have to add that their activities even surpassed my expectations.Go for it!

The EU and US actions are pure and simple. Been down this road many times before. It is obvious the Serbian plan is whatever Dacic agrees to they will let stand until after the EU gives a date then they will remove him from office and claim that the government did not agree to any of what "he" did. By having Dacic's preplanned replacement at the table to that will make it harder for Serbia to cry foul.

I'm sorry, your lap dogs are in pristina not Beograd. I believe the people of Serbia democratically elected officials to make those decisions.

The US and EU can go get f**ked.

They only want someone else to participate because they think they can corrupt him and offer him money to betray Serbs and Serbia.

Albania & Albanians in Tirana & Kosovo will never have anything to be proud of like Serbs and Serbia.

The U.S. has already sent an official invitation to the first deputy prime minister to participate in the final round of the Belgrade-Priština talks on April 2 in Brussels together with Prime Minister Ivica Dačić"

Ok, there are talks Belgrade-Prishtina and the mediator is the EU. US is sending "official invitation"? Possibly Serbia can invite somebody for "Indian-Chinese talks" or i will invite some freinds for an exclusive wedding of persons in the US I dont know. Serbia will be known in the new history of international realtions as akind of country which has allowed everybody to be involved in his internal and external affairs. Sure, I can listen the standard argument from Belgrade "We are small and must follow the great countries", Serbia was and is a colony.

And why Vucic is invited? To accept the capitulation that Dacic is not blamed alone for this. After this both can leave their offices.

Pretty nice,

humiliating Serbia knows no limitations: Now the west decides who has to be member of the serbian delegation. Serbia, the price of becoming a member of the western club is: to submit completely to the powerful countries in the west. Do you think everthing is getting better, whe Serbia is a full fledge member? First of all, this will last a long time. Probably never (see Turkey). Secondly: The humiliation is going to continue. Look at Greece, Spain, Italy, last but not the last Cyprus.
This was not the reason, our ancestors fight and died for in the 20 century.

Do you need this humiliation really?

By asking Vucic to get involved we all understand that this is obviously a last attempt, by the EU and the US, to get a deal on the table.
However we all know that gravedigger turned president answers only to a higher authority and since the orthodox church stands too much to loose by a fully independent Kosovo he will not budge an inch, even if giving up Kosovo means stability, peace, prosperity, closure.
We have had such leaders in the past and present, leaders who take their orders from GOD. Joseph Koni- head of the LRA in Uganda, George W Bush-ex (thank GOD) president of the USA, the Taliban-still active everywhere despite the death of Bin Laden, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei-the supreme leader of Iran and look where he has taken that country.
Nikolic can not see the long term benefits, only the short term negative effects. He now has the perfect opportunity to lock away 2 million Albanian voters who, not so hypothetically speaking, could simply propagate themselves into power. ( At this moment I can see Serbs nodding and maybe grinning and Albanians shake their heads in disgust while maybe thinking maybe this isn't such a bad idea).
Fish-lips is the smartest one of the lot. He can clearly see the pros and cons and is capable of understanding that Serbia needs to move on without a Kosovo to call its own but unfortunately he will not be able to turn the cards in Serbia's favour. Only GOD could do that. If only he were willing.

The US/EU are attempting to find the bigger sell-out. Vucic should stay within his scope or cracking down on corruption and he should do that for Serbia's interests and not that of the EU or US.

Personally, I hope a deal is not reached unless a compromise on executive and judicial powers are given to Serbs. We have gone far enough by essentially recognising KiM as a separate entity. The rigidity of the EU/US and Albanians means a deal will not last even if pressure is used to force one.
