You know full well that in 7 of the “wars” you mention the UK was only a bit-part player. These “wars” were all American adventures. And even in the modest task of maintaining the occupation of Basra the British army retreated with its tail between its legs.

The Malvinas war was won only with US intervention. Without Sidewinder missiles and American intelligence the primitive Harriers would have been blasted out of the sky and then the fleet sunk.

Real armies have real victories which could be achieved only with great bravery and loss of life. In WW1 the Serbian army crushed the Austrians in the first few months of the war. At the end of the war they repeated that feat on the Salonika Front when they brushed aside the Austrians, Germans and Bulgarians. In WW2 the Germans smashed the British and French, but then met another mighty nation which eventually crushed them – the Soviet Union.

Granted the British are good at killing primitive natives who meet British guns with spears. But against modern armies the British are hopeless and they know it.

Unfortunately I don’t have the wealth of the global elite and so cannot choose the date of my departure. But I’ll be glad to leave you and your like in Old Blighty. Britain is bankrupt, financially, morally and culturally – you’re welcome to it, Ian.

A few years ago an international economic conferences like this one would be impossible without American leadership. Today the Americans, the British and the EU are not only not invited, but they are not required.

All the Americans can offer the world is more death and destruction. The British can't offer even that. The British Army has had is arse kicked every time it left the mother country.

Other than the un-winnable war in Afghanistan, please give one example of Britain getting it's "arse kicked".

Falklands War 1982 - Victory
Gulf War 1990-91 Victory
Operation Desert Fox 1998 - Victory
Kosovo War 1999 - Victory
Sierra Leone Civil War 2000 - Victory
Invasion of Iraq 2003 - Victory
Iraq Insurgency (Basra Province) 2003-09 - Victory
Libyan Civil War 2011 - Victory

Anyway, when are you leaving this horrible country?

I love how Ian_uk is some sort of expert on who is friends with whom. First China is annoyed with North Korea, now China hates Russia and India. Lol are we to use your logic and assume Germany really hates england and is only friends with them because it is convenient?

Now you begin to see the problems with the anti-west movement. While they have a common cause in the battle against the US led west, they are still not trustful of each other enough to actually crawl into bed together.

Very true, they don't actually like one another. China definitely doesn't like India or Russia, China is just using them as friends of convenience.

They all want to be equals in this clan, but they'd be a laughing stock without China. China is insulted by the fact that Brazil, India, Russia and South Africa think they can be China's equal. China is in a league of it's own compared to the other four.

None of them can compete with China.

Brazil's population is too small and Brazil is too economically backwards with an unskilled labour force and a generally uneducated population. Regional Power only.

India is economically too poor, backwards and underdeveloped. I'm not going to bother with education.

Russia is a "has been" with small feet but wears big shoes. Russia's population is far too small and is rapidly declining. The labour force is educated and skilled, however Russia has an ageing population. Russia relies too much on it's geographical size and natural resources. Regional power only.

South Africa is a tiny nothing country and former Regional Power. It's economy is in reverse gear. They only reason South Africa was allowed to join was just for show. They'd should have let Nigeria join instead.

However, South Africa’s President Jacob Zuma has stated that negotiations on the forming of the bank will officially begin but not that the bank will be formed as many have been hoping, AFP has reported.

I assume all hopes are dashed for Serb die hards , believing in BRICS support. Even judo champ Putin looks very sad on this pic.
