Opposition DS "preparing for elections"

This government is obviously not functioning and the DS believes there will be elections, says official of the opposition Democratic Party (DS) Božidar Đelić.

Is this a joke? They are far from prepared for anything. One person changed the flag from LDP to DS (I don’t see the difference), and they state that they are being joined by many people.
And how are they financially equipping themselves? By taking a loan? Their accounts are still blocked, so who is he kidding?

They are preparing for elections??? Who cares? They demolished the entire state while being in power. There is nothing else left to demolish. Why are they still in search of power?

"And those that are being talked about, from the Emirates, will not lead to any concrete investment. It's only a hundred million euros. This government has not brought any new investors in our country. At the same time 3.7 billion have been borrowed in the first seven months without a capital facility or investors. The budget deficit for the first few months is frightening," said Đelić, adding that "if in the first two months you create a deficit planned for the quarter, then you're in trouble."

"We have a decline in the purchasing power. These are the figures, Galenika, Železara, no one has found a partner, money is being wasted, subsidies given to Fiat - should it not be invested in something smarter, to create jobs," asked Đelić."

Wow, Serb economy

To whom is he trying to sell this fairytale? People joining DS every single day. Is he really not aware that the people are leaving DS in extremely large numbers. Completely disappointed in what DS has become.

I also believe it is time for fresh elections. We have a weak president who can only express himself in riddles. Our prime minister has lost much of his legitimacy because of his past alliance with Milosevic and apparent connections to the underworld.
Vucic is the only one who is doing something credible which is to fight corruption. Very important if you want to fix Serbia but not enough.
Who can fill the political void. Most politicians are polarised from reality. All are occupied with Kosovo and themselves. None are fully committed to fixing the economy and social standards.
Here is a radical idea.
What Serbia and other failing states like Greece, Cyprus, DR Congo to name but a few could do is outsource government just like companies outsource management. This would of course not be constitutional nor possible, but lets assume for hypothetical reasons that it could.
Find a model that you aspire to, like the Swedish, German or Chinese model for instance and implement their policies for Serbia. A bit like copy/paste a proven system which brings prosperity and happiness to the people. The politicians are replaced by managers who are not chosen for their (mostly bullshit) words but for their actions and results. Should they fail to achieve their targets have them replaced.
Why not? 4000 years ago Democracy was a radical idea. Maybe now it is time for a new approach, a system which is socially responsible, and where those who run our country are held to account.
