He underlined that Belgrade and Priština would either agree on the executive powers of the association of Serb municipalities in Kosovo or fail to do it and that “would be the end of the negotiating process”.
I am not sure that this the position of Dacic and Nikolic if EU/Prishtina is offering a formula-compromise which is overshadowing the clear situation that the Serbs will get only a kind of NGO for folkloristic events. But there is another context with the UNSC-meeting. It showed that the general positions are completely different. You need for an fundamental agreement an athmosphere of common approaches. This is not in sight. And this is the great danger for Serbia signing with illusions any agreement and having at the end nothing: not the acceptance of the Serbs, nothing realy changed on the ground, not a step ahead towards EU and no mor joker in the hand for comming negotiations. Serbia hasnot so many jokers. And how you can see with the IBM-"agreement", if you are negotiationg without brain, the consequencer are bitter. And to be open: who is travelling to NY to the UN without knowing the speech of Thaci in advance, what is usual. It was the task of dacic for a hard and clear answer, but for Dacic it was the hour to pray about peace and other fine subjects not possible to transform in real earnings.
