But Serbia, would like to do so while a member of the EU, this way she will have a better chance at dividing the union on two sides! Thaci has no reason whatsoever to compromise on anything; the US and Germany will give unconditional support for his most extreme position at the talks. Indeed, there is no reason for Ashton to make a fair offer to Serbia because Serbia has already said, since the days of Tadic, that there is no alternative to the EU. Therefore, it is expected that Serbia must ultimately accept whatever Germany as the real power in the EU will dictate to it. Because Serbia has already gone down on its knees before the EU, its only choice is to swallow whatever organic waste Thaci and Merkel serve it, or Serbia can simply take its cards, including UNSC 1244, and do business with the nations that support it around the world, including BRIC among others. -if you see hw many years have passed since the wars in Croatia and BiH, Germany had after so many years much better and quiet normal relations with its former enemies, but there was a common historical fundament in culture, feith and also economy-all this is different from Serbia with its former enmies (Catholic church, Muslims are complete different like other aspects)
-Serbia should see the realities what is possible and what not, YU is over and all other points are for all partners only dictated by real interests, which should be as interdependence connected

Dacic has made in all the rounds in Brusselsthe impression that he is speaking more in clouds of peace as in real facts and clear demands, Dacic has no experiences with difficult international agreements as person in charge for propaganda and later for the police, international talks are not so esy like statements before the press about the "future of our children" or "for the sake of all people living in Kosovo...", its impossible to find in seven rounds a solution for such difficult problems (mainly as dinners, what is very unusual before an agreement was found, showing very clear the Serb mentality), alone the very practical aspects of energy or telecommunication normally can be solved only in talks going over years, its impossible to but all together from the beginning in a basket-at the end such a basket of different interests can bei packed, the "Serb community" in Kosovo has nothing to do with talks of Serbia with the EU, so it cannot come here to any progress: you can bring together only what belongs together. And this real historic compromise can only be that Serbia is accepting the independence of Kosovo and therefore get the legal binding confirmation that Serbia with two or three years will become a EU-member. Thaci has no reason whatsoever to compromise on anything; the US and Germany will give unconditional support for his most extreme position at the talks. Indeed, there is no reason for Ashton to make a fair offer to Serbia because Serbia has already said, since the days of Tadic, that there is no alternative to the EU. Therefore, it is expected that Serbia must ultimately accept whatever Germany as the real power in the EU will dictate to it. Because Serbia has already gone down on its knees before the EU, its only choice is to swallow whatever organic waste Thaci and Merkel serve it, or Serbia can simply take its cards, including UNSC 1244, and do business with the nations that support it around the world, including BRIC among others. The EU has shown that it is only willing to serve Serbia organic waste. It is time to walk away from the table and maintain UNSC 1244 which will keep Kosovo out of the EU or UN. Belgrade must learn that the world is far more than simply the EU.

You could see it just now in Zagreb that there is "a lot in common" between Serbs and Croats or what is the common between the muslims in BiH and the orthodox Serbs, all these are great illusions Serbia should not follow anymore, if you see France and Germany: all the aristrocrats in Germany were speaking and writing French not German, also with Poland after WWII it was not too difficult for the Cathlic church leaders in both countries but also for the German protestants to find a platform for understanding; you see how all the little Balkan-stes have now their "own language" and among the Orthodox chruches is seperation a huge trend, Serbia should start to look on the won country and forget all kinds of "regionalism" which could only seen bey neighboours as new YU-efforts whcih failed completely. Only 18years after WWII De Gaulle was welcomed by Germans as a hero
