It's no wonder Dacic keeps saying he "needs Vucic's support"

...No it was a demand from Germany during the talks of Vucic in Berlin with FM Westerwelle to be directly involved in the talks

"Tadic was stronger opposing some requests from the EU/US. ...

Very true - he knew the West preferred having the Democrats in power and would give him room to maneuver. (But after Jeremic promised they would not strongly oppose Kosovo's independence and then went to the ICJ, Western enthusiasm for the party began to slacken.) Nobody feels any need to go easy on Belgrade now, you're on your own, and some unpopular decisions are going to have to be made. It's no wonder Dacic keeps saying he "needs Vucic's support" and that Vucic does his best to stay uninvolved in these negotiations - whoever leaves his fingerprints on the upcoming deal is most likely going to suffer politically.

It is necessary to prepare the public for what will be finally announced."

Why? if it is a normal agreement why you should "prepare" the public? But if it is a type of capitulation, there is also a"prepared public" useless.
Instead to prepare the public the Serbian elite should be better prepared what is to do.

Another comment as desinformation without any content. The coming agreement with Prishtina will be very poor. EU/US can count on the Serbs to accept some good-lloking phrases without having agreed about the real details on the ground. Belgrade will let it in the hands of Prishtina/EULEX and the non-united Serbs in Kosovo to find a solution on the fundament of the cosntitution on Prishtina. Belgrade is leaving Kosovo forever. It has not the diplomatic capacity like the former YU for such talks. Dacic is happy if he can further pay the salaries and pensions. The EU and US made him very clear that they could make him real trouble with the IMF. If Nikolic can follow or is informed by Dacic is unclear. There was never a weaker government in Belgrade like now. Tadic was stronger opposing some requests from the EU/US. The appetite is now bigger in Western countries to demand more from Serbia. If Serbia is giving so much to Prishtina, many other EU-countries will demand also something. Also in such a minute you should act with dignity. But Serbia´s elite hasnt such dignity at all.
