Dude - your soul is frighteningly twisted. This comment left me speechless. It's so wrong, on so many levels. You pretend to care about victims of domestic violence, but only if it proves your political point - and a tenuous point it is. You're saying that (1) all Serbian women who were alive 20 years ago applauded rape; that (2) domestic violence visited against women today who weren't even born then is somehow a just retribution for crimes committed in the 90's; and that (3) wherever you live, it's more enlightened than Serbia and free from domestic violence.

"Serbian false macho bravado" has nothing to do with it. Gender-based violence is a WORLDWIDE problem and needs to be treated as such. Women all over the world are suffering daily and videos like this bring this issue to the forefront.
Shame on you for your backwards thinking and making this an ethnic issue instead of one that is gender-based. Women are always the universal 'other', not only is the distinction made on ethnic grounds, but also on those within her own ethnic group. Women not having enough children, women having too many children, women being raped in wartime etc. all occurred during the breakup of Yugoslavia, but this is not a problem that is unique to the Balkans.
Domestic abuse is a disgusting thing and those who are guilty of it deserve very harsh punishment, where ever in the world they come from. 'Captain America' who is obviously an albanian tries to link domestic abuse directly to Serbian people, the immediate reaction is to get annoyed but such a comment is laughable.
