How many Croatians thrown out of Serbia Lenny? Hmmm???? How many beaten up because they are Croats?????
Remember try and not sit on your brains. It’s better to be thought of as a fool than opening your mouth and removing all doubt.

If there no Serbs in Croatia there would be no trouble. How much warning do you Serbs need before you realise you aren't welcome in Croatia. Serbia for Serbs, Croatia for Croats.
(Bam Bam, 19 March 2013 03:07)

Hey Mr. Big Croat Bam Bam, why are you then living in America? And if its Serbia for Serbs? You ok with then kicking out every Croat in Vojvodina? Racist moron.

That so?
How about you go and tell all your Croatian brothers and sisters in Serbia to leave? Serbia for Serbs and Croatia for Croats right?

The latest is that these students “provoked the croats” by wearing T-shirts with “Kosovo belongs to Serbia” and these attackers were Croats from Kosovo. If they were what the hell are they doing living in Croatia? Why aren’t they back living amongst their Albanian friends???? The serbs did not kick them out, it was their Albanians. (sj, 18 March 2013 23:39) sj I know the Serbs are the innocence poster child of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Janjevci the ex Yugoslavia as I read the comments. I see most Serbs live in total denial and grand delusions as usual. Time for reality check and please take your pills.

I stroll around Knin the whole summer with an Orthodox cross out for everyone to see, yet nobody gives me any trouble. Either they aint got the balls or are not really as bothered as Bam Bam is.

Then you will gladly agree that for the same reasons, Albanians in Kosovo should move to their county: Without Albanians in Kosovo, there would be no trouble. Like you said: Serbia (inkl. Kosovo) for Serbs, Albania for Albanians. Right?

This is the same type of creature that in Bosnia begs Republika Srpska to help Croats against the Bosniaks, but wants to kick out Serbs who have lived in areas for centuries.
This is not human being but a creature. Personally I’m glad that the Croats have finally pulled off their masks and shown their true faces – hideous animals.

Bam Bam, unfortunately it is Croatia for Croats, Slovenia for Slovenes, Bosnia for muslims, Kosovo for Albanians, and Serbia for everyone. This is because 'Yugoslavs' are still in power in Serbia.

I just don't understand how any Serb can live in Croatia, it is insane. They should leave that country and move to Republika Srpska.

Is it any wonder this has happened? The EU has been rewarding croats at every opportunity. Now the current government is embarrassed over this story being reported throughout the EU and from what I have seen it’s not a pretty picture. Croatia is slowly being painted as a racist and fascist state, and its all being done by the croats themselves. Why did Milanovic reject PR advisers?

Its just a cover for what the majority of Croats really are. But as I said before its the EU who has encouraged this time and time again.

As for the attackers, I would like to see them attack on the 14th of August when the monastery is full of Serbs on a religious holiday, indeed full of CHETNIKS. I personally dont take offense to being called a Chetnik, rather I take pride in it. They only use that term because they fear Chetniks.

Milanovic's public statements condemning the attack on the Serbian seminary students by the ethnic Croats, and his broader condemnation of ethnic hatred in general, is the only appropriate response.
Kudos to the Croatian police who are investigating the incident, and the lawyers who may prosecute the perpetrators. These are concrete and meaningful steps toward peace, and those taking them are highly commended by yours truly.

I have quite a few back-handed compliments to Croatia's present, civilized approach, but for the love of peace and Jesus my Lord, I'll take the rest of the day off and pray for us all.

What else is new in Lijepa Nasa? This has been Croatia's worst kept secret since Tudjman conveniently died before the ICTY issued a warrant for his arrest. It's an unhealthy mixture of over the top exaggerated love for the "domovina" in everything from official state slogans to advertisements for chocolates mixed with a bizarre love/hate relationship with everything and anything Serbian, as well as Slovenian on occasion. It's like an outspoken homophobe who knows far too much information on gay life and talks about it incessantly. Racism is certainly visible in Serbia, but it is institutionally embedded in Croatia. The difference is you can easily spot the "nationalist" in Serbia by the flare he carries and the T-shirt he wears, and if he mindlessly shouts "Prava za Uroša!". In Croatia, it's actually in state policy, vocalized and promoted by politicians, and broadcast every night on HRT, and, it would seem, a desperate attempt by HDZ, a dying and increasingly irrelevant party, to get votes a la Sali Berisha. Take a look at the circus performance in Vukovar over legalizing the Cyrillic alphabet. Listen to any elected official long enough for an anti-Serbian slur. You never get this stuff in Serbia because political racism was never a part of its politics. In Croatia, it is part of what they think is their glorious heritage of liberation and independence from the 1990s.

It is good that he is condemning the attack, though he is wrong about a couple of things. First of all there were over 500,000 Serbs in 1991 who rebelled against the Croatian fascist state, he is also wrong in saying that remaining Serbs in Croatia respect the constitution, they dont respect it out of choice rather they have no other choice.

Surprising? Not really! Isn't it normal for right wing extremist to spread pure hatred? I would be surprised if right-wing extremists (may it be in Croatia, Serbia or elsewhere) would behave like civilized people.

"He also criticized the media, singling out the public broadcaster HRT for referring to "the children" who attacked the students as "Janjevci" (Janjevo residents)."

Bad wording, indeed. Do it like in Kosovo: The correct term to be used for hooligans and criminals who are stoning and attacking persons of ethnic minorities is 'playing kids'.

"It is particularly worrying that none of the attackers has been found, and tried and sentenced by the Croatian judiciary," it was underlined."

Oh, another similarity to the independent dram state of Kosovo.

Lots of blame to go around. The Americans and Germany with their propaganda and disinformation war have made Serbs open season in Croatia and Kosovo. They are as much to blame as the perpertrators themselves. These pigs think they can get away with anything. Nazism and racism is rampant in Croatia, always has been, but do you hear anything from the EU? We will bide our time.

I was pleasantly surprised to read about Milanovic slightly 'losing it' on the issue of right wing intolerance in Croatia.
There was a comment on the Serbian side of this site that I'll expand on - Milanovic don't act surprised now and don't blame it all on right wingers in Croatia when supposedly left wing parties were doing just as much chest beating, or just conducting their intolerance behind closed doors as opposed to in kafanas and on tv cameras.

So its disappointing that these verbal and physical attacks on Serbs and other minorities in Croatia seem to have gone up recently. However, this is the first time I remember a sitting Croatian Prime Minister has come out strongly against it. We've seen Josipovic condemn this type of thing but I didn't think that Milanovic had it in him.

BTW another Croatian commenter in the Serbian language part of the site expressed his disappointment with Milanovic for NOT referring to Serbian aggression, but that Milanovic had suggested what happened in 1990's Croatia was a civil war!

Its worth reading those comments if you have an understanding of Serbian.
