Russian Deputy FM Sergei Ryabkov says Moscow's position has not changed after the U.S. announcement of changes in the plan to deploy its anti-missile system.

Paul you don't get it? Yet it is very simple. Communism and the Soviet-Union are gone (thank God) but the Cold War antagonism of Putin's Russia continues unabated. The US has no choice but to build up its defenses because as at least 2 US presidents pointed out "our freedom is not negociable".

Why do we continue to treat the Russians like the enemy? I don't get it. The whole Cold War was based on confronting the Soviet Union and communism and both are dead in Russia. It is harder and harder to ignore that US military policy towards Russia looks less and less defensive and more and more aggressive every day.

Another meaningless story. The US part finances Israels IronDome & Arrow projects, IronDome for short range missiles such as Katyushas, Arrow for SCUD types and medium range missiles. For ICBM's the US Navy has the Aegis system and the interceptors based in Alaska. Missile Defense from top to bottom. And then the US wants Russia to agree to reducing ICBMs so that they will be easier to defend against and in the USA's favor. Long range radar will remain in the Czech Republic for early warning along with the one in Norway.

Poor Omama. He tries again to please the Russians, enemies of the US. Why? It is a completely wrong, failed policy. Completely ignoring them would be the right thing. Well, 3 more years and his failed presidency is over.
