“restructuring of the program”
Here are some more of the same:
structural adjustment to fiscal expenditure; right sizing; downsizing, re-aligning to meet core business needs; readjustment of key priorities; containment of fiscal disbursement within planned budgetary allocation. I can go on for pages, but they all mean one thing – the money has run out.
This relocating missiles to Alaska is a smoke screen. Alaska is not the place to contain Russia nor is North Korea a threat to the US. North Korea needs about 100 missile launches to make a successful attack on the US. They have between 5 or10 at best.
Yes the US is waiting for the China/Japan dispute over some islands to bubble over. These islands are nothing to go by but it’s the oil and gas around them that is so valuable. The Chinese have already finished a dispute with the Philippines and now it’s time to settle some old score with Japan.
The Chinese will win. The US military industrial complexes are making weapons that are fantastic on papers, but mediocre on the battlefield. Look at Iraq and Afghanistan – what have the Americans shown the world in leading weaponry? Nothing at all.
The Chinese are ready for this fight and they already have enormous reserves in gold; some the US is aware of, but others they are not. So if the Us becomes too much of a pain in the rear, Bejing wil pull the plug on Washington and allow teh US economy to implode.
