Kosovar-Serbs will get the same rights as Albanians have in Presheva,Medvedja and Bujanoc.

And also the same rights America gives the Serbs in Illinois that have hundreds of thousands of Serbs.

Serbs aren't special and no special status is warranted.

ofcourse both sides like to show they are the winners, to be honest both are indeed winners, kosovo will get rid of the belgrade institutions in northern kosovo, while serbia makes sure serbs are protected and taken care of while they also get the green light to go further in their EU accession, so please people just cheer up

If Thaci says no executive powers, you know it's on the way. He's fantastic for predicting the exact opposite of what will happen. As it turns out, he already agreed to executive powers but is holding out on one last attempt at having a say over who appoints judges for an autonomous Serbian Assembly of Municipalities. If he somehow states tomorrow that the judges will operate under "Kosovo Law", you know he gave up on that too :)

You Serbs know well what you asked for, but did not get it nor will you ever get anything like RS in Bosnia. We would never allow Serbs to have any legislative or executive powers. I as an Albanian Kosovar am very satisfied with what we have accomplished so far dating back from 1999. No Serbian police in Kosova, or Serbian army allowed ever back here again. Serbian constitution is gone once and for all we have our own Kosovar Constitution. Are you kidding me? Look at the facts Serbs, you have failed miserably when you talk about how much you have left in Kosova since 1999. Serbia has gave in, NIKOLIC like all other Serbian politicians knows what he has to say to manipulate Serbians. He knows what Serbians want to hear even though it is not true.

"It looks like Kosovo is pretty far from being independent."

i take you mean Kosova's independence has not been fully consolidated yet. well that is true, but put it this way, no law of Serbia permeates over here, so it is independent of Serbia

Troops are actually already being sent. American troops that is. You must not read very much news. Pick and choose huh.

You don't need to worry! What ever deal is struck between Belgrade and Pristina you albanians have a tendency to interpret it in your favour. However, if you think about it, according to you Kosovo is allready independent. So, any deal with Serbia must mean some kind of concession by Pristina. If I already had everything I sure wouldn't give up any of that. It looks like Kosovo is pretty far from being independent.

if the EU is truly endorsing this position then Serbia is well and truly out of it"

Unless Serbia doesn't agree. What next, send the storm troopers in aka 2004 Pogrom Part II 'The Final Clean Up'? Cleanse all Serbs south of the Ibar?

"Their joint conclusion was that it was necessary to continue the process of normalization of relations between Kosovo and Serbia with respect of Kosovo’s Constitution and laws"

if this is indeed true, then I will suggest that any agreement reached will be a victory for Kosova. they key bit is "...with respect of Kosovo’s Constitution and laws...". if the EU is truly endorsing this position then Serbia is well and truly out of it
