His job is going to be a very difficult one.
All the probing into child sex abuse is not going away. Maybe that's why the last one got out of there before it got too hot for him.

I guess this took our minds off all that ugly stuff for a while. Now it's back to business and the Royal Commission we have going in Australia looking into all the child sex abuse.
Good luck to the new Pope. He will need it.

peter k you s/b be ashamed of yourself. The new pope has Italian background, has nothing to do with Nazis and Germans but you feel better to inject some ugly polemic. Maybe you are Jewish and you see Nazis everywhere. You should know that years ago this new pope went to the scene of an attemptat in a synagogue to condemned the ugly crime right away. I knew nothing about Francis I until now. The more I read about him the more I am impressed. I find that he is an excellent choice. I admire him to take that heavy burden at his age. For the first time I agree with Peggy and I wish him good luck too. I am touched by his humility and his sense of social justice. He is so different from all the politicians.

Who would have thought that Jim Bowen would be elected pope...
