"President Tomislav Nikolić called Wednesday on Belarus businessmen to invest in Serbia, adding he was the guarantor of the safety of their investments"

This sounds like those restaurant owners that, when asked by their customers for the prices of the menu entries, reply: "don't you worry, I take care of you". Gives the impression Nikolic is above the law, you need to be friends with him to have a safe investment in Serbia.

Why so negative comments about cooperation with Belarus? Non-eu county? Does it matters? There is strong relationships beetwen two nations, and that should continue with economic cooperation. More friends in world - the better situation for Serbia.

Commenters below are citizens of countries who have sold billions of dollars of weapons to tyrannical gulf states. Where's the outrage? Hypocrites.

I like that Nikolic is showing that the better way to bring about dialogue is through engagement and inclusion, as opposed to hostility. By sitting down with Lukashenko and talking with him Serbia has a lot more credibility than most of the EU countries. Belarus has never threatened or insulted any other country in Europe but is constantly being insulted and demonized by the EU.

Haha, this president is a laughing stock by the book. And I thought it can't get even more hilarious. Next visit is Kim Yong-Un. Hopefully the medal fits him. LOL!

Cant he find other countries in Europe that are more respected than Belarus to invest in Serbia? Does he have to stick with the socialist/communist countries of the world?
