Exactly. EULEX was allowed in by Serbia (yes Serbia DID have to agree to it) to replace UNMIK's functions and not serve as a taxi for ROSU terrorists (because they CANNOT travel through the north freely and safely).

Yes EULEX did get Serbia's permission and the mission went live on 16 February 2008 the day before Kosovo declared independence. However in September 2012 EULEX had to get Pristina's permission (not Belgrade's) to extend their mandate to summer 2014 and I really doubt it'll be extended further.

There is one huge difference, Kosovo is sitting right smackin the middle of NATO's domain, you are not in some middle east country and if Serbia turns more toward Russia, you can bet NATO presence will not only remain but you will see an increase. Has NATO left South Korea? 60 years after peace signed. Has NATO left Japan 70 years later. What about Germany? Still large US bases there.
Serbia and Kosovo are smack in the middle EU and NATO sphere of influence, they are not going anywhere and the only invasion you can muster is in your dreams.
But make you claims all you want as it as harmless as a one legged man in a butt kicking contest.

You are seriously delusional if you think NATO gives a rats ass about the people living in KiM. Just look at the history of NATO's military operations. They left Iraq and the kurds in the northern paid the price, they are leaving the Afghanistan and the Taliban are slowly regaining control. Eventually they will leave Serbia's southern province and Serbia will regain control. Theis is not an empty threat, thisis what NATO does.

Appeasement will not solve this problem. Just as in Croatian Kraina you have to do something in that way that they stop obstructing, because unfortunately they regard peaceful means as a sign as weakness.

Just for living in Kosovo i Metohija they should not be paying any taxes at all. But clearly these Serbs are some of the most bravest people standing on this planet.
