We can all agree that we need some kind of rule.
And Europe set the rule with Badinter's commision - republics of former Yugoslavia , and they named them all - Macedonia, Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia, Croatia and Slovenia cannot be divided.
Then most of Europe spit in face of their own legal expert and many recognized Kosovo.
I personally wouldn't mind Presevo leaving if this would apply to all republics, but make no mistake, RS has to leave too. Why would one let Albanians leave Serbia if Serbs were cleansed from Croatia (with help of lot of Albanians like Agim Ceku, etc.) in order preserve integrity of the republic.
We then have a right to preserve Serbia in a same way.
As it is I wouldn't split Kosovo - all of it is Serbia!!!
Interesting that the people of the Falklands can decide to stay british while other minorities are refused that same right. Let Northern serb and RS be given the same right to decide to who they wish to belong. The west and its selective justice makes me sick. I hope all the crap they have caused all over the world will bite them in the ass one day.

First, hold a referendum in Presevo. You'll probably get a majority there. You're a little more hard pressed in Bujanovac and Medvedja.
Second, the previous government refused to recognize it since they knew what the outcome would be. The present government is working on the obvious and using the north as the first 4 of eventually 10 Kosovo municipalities that will be separately run.
Do what you want in Presevo. If the results come out to what you think, we'll talk. Until that time, stop making parallels without any action :)

The fact is that probably more then 12 million Kurds live in Turkey, and would rather be independent. Right, so if a group of people settles on my land and I am nice to them and do not expel them, after awhile they claim my land is theirs? No way. This is a territorial dispute and there are no squatters rights applicable.
