once more I have nothing to object to your point. the truth you are writing seems completely unbiased and Im glad for that. I just wouldnt like to see the Montenegrin people in a civil war. they are not ready. the rulling party has been an uncrossable bridge since the Yugoslavian fallappart and the people have yet to be freed from all the nationalistic and sovinistic poison that has been spilled amongst them for the last few decades. the people of Montenegro, even though never entirely and directly involved in the war of the 90s, havent had the time to recover from its most serious social consequences. you cant expect mature, brave and responsible actions from someone who had almost no choice for years. the fact that very similar things are happening all over Europe and the world makes it even worse. it is obvious that the situation in Montenegro is like this because its convenient for someone bigger than Milo and Aco. therefore the matter of saving Montenegrin people is only the first step for the locals, since I believe the whole human race is in desperate need of salvation from the people who dont look after collective human interests but only of the selected few. sadly, the first step is always the hardest. I just cant lose hope for the people. things have to change

vlitza,

If you refer to my comment with your "that point of view can not help the people of Montenegro", I only can agree with you. Only action will help the Montenegrins. But they are not able for action now. Djukanovic has split his opposition and created a political scenery where no-one is trusted, including himself and his party. And this consolidates his and his crews power in the country. Why so? People don't protest against him even if they think he's a crook? Djukanovic has created political apathy in the nation. There are many supporters of this apathy, like them who got job because their entire family voted for Djukanovic. They don't want any change even they know that situation is no good. And Djukanovic's apparatus finds out did certain people vote for the party or not.

Montenegrins say Djukanovic stinks but others stink, too. If someone tries anything, next day there's an article in goverment supporting newspaper or TV. This someone is revealed as liar, crook, traitor and unworthy to be trusted. And people in their anger and disappoinment don't want to support anyone. They rather stay on backyard growing potatoes.

Yes, there is fear. Fear and mistrust. They keep the house of cards standing. And the house of cards is strong. It's been under construction longer than 20 years. It has strong foundation.

All IS in the hands of Montenegrin citizenry. But they aren't as courageous as they claim they are. Neither are they as clever as they claim to be.

true. but I must say that point of view can not help the people of Montenegro. human rights dont exist there. the educational system is being ripped appart by opportunistic political figures who play for both sides, the government and the private sector. unemployment is as huge as everywhere and poverty is on the rise. that fact creates pressure that combined with the intimidation systematically inflicted by the rulling party creates a vacuum of desperation that can only demotivate people further. every ruler would like the people to think hes invincible. there are people who let get sucked into the fake patriotic propaganda but most of them are just scared. and no one can help. European Union doesnt even want to help since Montenegro hasnt been elected member yet.

its bad

I'm smiling... and so are Aco and Milo. Montenegro is a nice cash machine for them. Any change in sight? No. There are so many people and families working for the party (state and municipalities) that nothing will change. So brothers can march to next cash machine. Once proud Montenegrins just follow the show. Milo arranged them independency (not from stupidity), so they give to vladika what belongs to vladika.
