I wish for a compromise, but the Kalbs are just impossible to deal with. They have no experience for these negotiations so just do what they are told. They dont make the decisions. We should avoid the Kalbs altogether and negotiate directly with the US State Dept.

You are correct in part. Experience has nothing to do with it. The Albanian side feels that it is invincible with the US support. The problem is that it is listenting to certain US officials with personal agendas, like Bill Clinton, Albright, and Clark. Others in the government have more moderate views or don't care about the issue at all. Thankfully, the new Serbian government is a little more reluctant to agree in haste. In the end, some sort of compromise from the Albanian side will have to be made, but it won't go down well in Pristina.

Obviously an official partition of Kosovo has already been agreed on, similar to Cypress, North and South Korea and that's why the BIG 3 are going. It will be interesting to see on how this will be received by all concerned, especially because there was no referendum on the matter.

Yep, the dogs in the street have been barking that for ages now. Both sides simply going through the motions. Both Dacic and Thaci privately know it.

Translation:

"We will do our utmost to continue filling our pockets, flood Serbia with whatever western propaganda, agents and NGO´s necessary in order to keep them guilt ridden and subdued to our western masters and a futile dream on becoming instant millionaires once disintegrated into a then sunken wreck of a neo-liberal union."
