Serbia is known for being friendly and hospitable to friendly visitors who have respect for the country that they are visiting while taking a keen interest to learn more about Serbia, those people will always be welcome. US military personnel? Never welcome, I hope they continue to recieve a hard time.

Who cares that they were marines. They're probably employed as drivers and security at the US embassy. By the sounds of it, they were just trying to enjoy themselves at the club.

I love how the same people who go on an on about how Serbia is so welcoming are always going to be the same ones making excuses for thugs bashing some random foreigner.

Why am I not surprised that B92 deleted part of my last comment, clearly didn't like my satisfaction as US Marines recieving a hard time in BG.

I am also not surprised by Danilo jumping in to defend these US scumbags, Misic is no saint but it really is sad how he feels the need to defend US Marines, sad loser.

I said "try" dude.

And uros wasn't trying to save anyone when he tried to kill someone by putting a lit explosive into another man's mouth. You can see the video of the action. Two other police are trying to protect him

Lol how did Srdjan Aleksic save the muslim? Did he say to the others "cut it out fellas?" or did he shove a gun in their face ? How come it is ok for Aleksic to save someone but not Misic? The cop had a gun to a kids head. I asked you if you saw anyone with a gun to a kids head would you sit idly by or do something and of course you being an albo troll will choose to be a COWARD! It is obvious you hate everything Serbian unless they do anti Serbian "things" which is typical of albo and the croat trolls that infest this website.

They should not go out because they are not wanted in Serbia. They are invaders. (Peggy, 7 March 2013 13:43)

Well exactly that is implemented on Crete where US have it's base. There's no night life for marines anymore. Before that marines were frequently involved in fights and even tried to rape local Greek woman at Hania. I still remember 1995 Okinawa rape incident over 12 year old girl where she was kidnapped and tortured by 3 US marines.

Beside that, how the hell happen their presence on the streets of Serbia and out of US Embassy? How they expected to be seen? As liberators?

US must work SO MUCH to restore basic relations with Serb people, it's not time to go out at night. Still, it's good we're not some of the Arabs where nightclub would be blown up with locals and marines all together.

Uros is innocent brave Serb who couldn't swallow sick arrogance, nor he's morally obligated to do so at territory of Serbia.

I am involved in foreign business which sometimes have US marines and military stuff as a customers and there's absolutely no problem as we Serbs are not low profile terrorists minds at all. Our awareness of being on foreign soil and professionalism while paying full respect to related values is a clear proof that we're civilized nation. Still I'm not ready to meet US marine in Serbia out of Embassy, vehicle or Airport. This triangle should apply.

Rest of US or any other foreign citizens should be highly respected and welcomed at any place in Serbia.

His defense this time should be: "Well, they let me out of prison, it's not my fault". It took him only three months out to get in trouble again. I think we have not heard the last of him. In 6 months he will be again on the pages of B92.

Peggy

So how did these marines expect to be treated in the club?
Bombing and killing Serbs one day and having a good time in a club the next expecting nobody to mind?
They should not go out because they are not wanted in Serbia. They are invaders.

Those marines shouldn't be allowed outside of their compound. I remember going to my mum's village in RS and the British troops stationed there weren't allowed out as the Serbs kept beating them up. Same rules should apply here. It will prevent further violence and understandable so considering how the US has treated Serbia.
(Zoran, 6 March 2013 21:58)

Same as why the Serbs in Kosova have to be kept behind barbed wire fences.
It's just the way things are! So, Zoran, keep your words in mind the next time a Serb gets what's coming to him.

What we have here is a thug who is a product of the "culture" existing in Serbia today. What possible defense can this punk put up to defend his barbaric behavior. His criminal record reveals his warped background and upbringing, his punishment for past crimes exposes the poor quality of the legal system in Serbia. And, the Serbs think they deserve to be part of the EU. It seem these people just came out of the trees?

So, no, I'm not a "fan" of these marines; I haven't the faintest idea of who they are or what happened.
However, I am particularly not a fan of this psychopath - this poster boy for violent thugs in Serbia - who is, again, alleged to be a part of a violent act.
The only people more sick that this psycho are weirdos who support him because Serbia. Where the hell is your moral centre? Isn't the man he permanently maimed with an incendiary device also Serbian? How do people get so twisted??

Loll you albo trolls make me laugh. An undercover cop came to the ultras section with a loaded gun. That same undercover cop had that loaded gun pointed at a kids head. If you go to any stadium in the world and see a plain clothed guy pointing a gun at a kids head are you just suppose to sit there and do nothing? Or do you be a hero like Uros Misic and do whatever you can to free the kid from the madman pointing a gun at his head? ???,

Just to be clear, the alleged assailant we're talking about just got out of jail for 5 years (released early due to overcrowding in the prisons) for putting an ignited explosive into another man's mouth, trying to kill him in public, in front of cameras.

His only defence in court was, "I didn't know the man I was trying to kill was a police man"
