Albanian commentators are laughing, thinking it will destroy Jeremic's debate.

Not sure what's to destroy in Jeremic's debate... Vuk can have three debates a day, if he so wishes; one for breakfast, one for lunch and another one for dinner and possibly a summary session after dinner :)

Cheap NATO political stunts... "

What you are complaining about? You will get back all the dirt you have delivered without asked for. There is no proud, no joy like in Croatia or Kosovo...the Serbs are unhappy with or without having Kandic. A great example for the "unity" of the Serb people. And the NATO was only successful with all the help by Milosevic and Co. Holbrooke wrote a detailed book about how Milosevic was giving away Sarajevo etc, noboy has expected and asked for. And so the Serbs in a "great historical compromise" will hand over the last part of Kosovo to the Albanians. The Serb elite has no dignity and now they have problems to welcome this old general what shows they feel guilty.

Firstly, who in Serbia is celebrating? Perhaps Natasha Kandic as she gets a day of interviews from western media but not many others. The NATO court is digging itself deeper and deeper into a hole. Amazing how it can get some cases so wrong. Convicting generals for 25+ years only to overturn them on appeal? Talk about a joke!

Now, lets not forget he was arrested in 2002 on suspicion of passing state secrets to the US. Western media are now reporting Serbs should treat this kangaroo court as unbiased and many of our Albanian commentators are laughing, thinking it will destroy Jeremic's debate. Well, at least we can see the political nature of this farce.

Now he should never have been put on trial in the first place but it was a political decision to assist Croatia in its genocide lawsuit against Serbia. Nothing but manipulation my friends. Cheap political tricks.
