That nosey old commie Berisha should tell his people what he is going to do to get them out of poverty, and not how Albanians need to unite into one great land of tribalism and poverty. But I have a feeling he has no economic solutions, so he plays the nationalism card. Well, he better hurry up and use that dirty card, because there is a lot of new evidence that proves that Bosnians are in deed the oldest ethnicity in the Balkans, and the Albanians. It's hard to dispute DNA - a lot more compelling than old Albanian folk tales. See you in a couple of weeks.

No changes of borders allowed? The Serbs who post on here would be justified in wondering why that wasn't the German position at the time of the UDI. I have no strong view either way but there is an irony and hypocrisy here which Mr Dodik has been keen to point out over the years.

Germany told Albania "look at Serbia and see what they achieved with their nationalism".

Few minor issues...

1. Most Albanians here write that Berisha only speaks what he speaks in order to win in elections. They suggest that Albanians don't support Berisha's nationalistic politics. These leaves me puzzled: If that's the case why would Berisha go on this way in case he wants to win? If Albanians do not want what Berisha offers, if they oppose Berisha's politics, why would they vote for him? Therefore I believe that the answer goes like this: Berisha offers to Albanians what they want. Majority of Albanians, where-ever they lodge, think like ben does: They want "unification of Albanian territories".

2. War is imminent. Albanians ("Albanian territories") will not be taken in the EU with their unification politics. So either their view change or they go on like today, and that means war in not so distant future.

3. Most Albanians here, like Rocky, write: "...borders in Europe (in the EU) will have no importance whatsoever!!!" This is completely wrong view. The fact that you may pass a borderline without being stopped and asked for documents does not mean that countries with their own laws and regulations have ceased to exist. It does not mean that Swedish politics are the same as Italian politics. It does not mean that Irish kids and English kids are taught in schools same "facts" about their troublesome common history. And if needed, border checks are returned in a week's time.

4. Albanians will drown in their nationalism.

Dont forget that GREATER SERBIA HAPPEHD ALONG TIME AGO, 1913 when they got 4 diffrent parts from Kosova, Sanxhak of Nis, Sanxhak of Novi Pazar, Presheva valley and todays Kosova! I looked those stats and albanians were in 1910 about 50 % in the vilayet of ioannina and Vilayet of Kosovo also around 50%
But have in mind 32 years earlier Serbs were 400.000 only in Kosovo as albanians were 150.000!

Vilayet of Monastir Macedonians/Serbs were the majority 85% and Albanians were only 100.000 including parts of eastern albanian (Elbasan/Korcha etc).
Vilayet of Shkoder 50/50 Serb/Albanian

And before the Turks or in the ottoman empire it didn't matter if u were from Serbia/Bulgaria/Thracia/Macedonia/Greece/Bosnia/Romania (Serb/Slavs)

What Berisha has in common with the rest of the regional leaders is that he's looking out for himself. It's about votes. Screw the people. What are Dacic and Nikolic telling their people?

The most recent provocation and clear violation of the law of languages in FYROM is the fact that the public transportation company of Skopje is refusing to write down on local buss the destination in Albanian as well, as it is envisaged by the law. This is apparently due to the "software problems"- the software can write in Cyrillic but not in Latin letters. And this is going on for 14 months now. The prosecutor is not opening an investigation about the clear breach of the law and so one...

If someone thinks that this kind of life is civilized co-habitation well I don't think so. Sooner or latter Albanians will say enough is enough we are done with you. You cannot grant a state to the Serbian micro minority in Kosova and deny to 10 times more Albanians even the minority rights in FYROM.

See it is the fascism of our neighborliness that pushes us to unite.

Whenever Serbs or FYROMians have upper hand they establish a clear apartheid policies towards us Albanians. That cannot be accepted as price for peace and US/EU should know that.

Rocky, I hate to say it, but you're wrong. milosevic and serbia may have lost the wars militarily in Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia, and Kosovo, but they're aggression did in fact pay off. serbia ended up with half of Bosnia and all of Vojvodina. What did it cost them? Just a few thousand poor fool soldiers many of which had criminal backgrounds so serbia didn't want them back anyway, some refugees of serb ethnicity from the war zones which serbs could care less about, a few years of living with an embargo which milosevic was happy with because he and his friends made more money selling black market goods, and a bad reputation in the world which won't last forever. They almost got away with stealing lands from Croatia and Kosovo too. This was a very small price for what they won in the end, half of Bosnia and all of Vojvodina. Even though serbia had the military advantage and was beaten in each war, it won in the end with politics. The military were pawns and were expendable. They were used to get a seat at the bargaining table. This has been serbia's strategy in every war. serbia has never been known to produce great soldiers. It is known for their politicians who even after losing on the battlefield are able grow the size of serbia in the end. milosevic and serbia is a case study not of punishment for crimes, but rewards for crimes. milosevic was evil and a crook, but he was a master politician because he knew every move his opponents were going to make. Like hitler and stalin.

They almost got away with stealing lands from Croatia and Kosovo too. This was a very small price for what they won in the end, half of Bosnia and all of Vojvodina. Even though serbia had the military advantage and was beaten in each war, it won in the end with politics. The military were pawns and were expendable. They were used to get a seat at the bargaining table. This has been serbia's strategy in every war. serbia has never been known to produce great soldiers. It is known for their politicians who even after losing on the battlefield are able grow the size of serbia in the end. milosevic and serbia is a case study not of punishment for crimes, but rewards for crimes. milosevic was evil and a crook, but he was a master politician because he knew every move his opponents were going to make. Like hitler and stalin.

This is apparently due to the "software problems"- the software can write in Cyrillic but not in Latin letters. And this is going on for 14 months now. The prosecutor is not opening an investigation about the clear breach of the law and so one...

If someone thinks that this kind of life is civilized co-habitation well I don't think so. Sooner or latter Albanians will say enough is enough we are done with you. You cannot grant a state to the Serbian micro minority in Kosova and deny to 10 times more Albanians even the minority rights in FYROM.

Few minor issues...

1. Most Albanians here write that Berisha only speaks what he speaks in order to win in elections. They suggest that Albanians don't support Berisha's nationalistic politics. These leaves me puzzled: If that's the case why would Berisha go on this way in case he wants to win? If Albanians do not want what Berisha offers, if they oppose Berisha's politics, why would they vote for him? Therefore I believe that the answer goes like this: Berisha offers to Albanians what they want. Majority of Albanians, where-ever they lodge, think like ben does: They want "unification of Albanian territories".

2. War is imminent. Albanians ("Albanian territories") will not be taken in the EU with their unification politics. So either their view change or they go on like today, and that means war in not so distant future.

3. Most Albanians here, like Rocky, write: "...borders in Europe (in the EU) will have no importance whatsoever!!!" This is completely wrong view. The fact that you may pass a borderline without being stopped and asked for documents does not mean that countries with their own laws and regulations have ceased to exist. It does not mean that Swedish politics are the same as Italian politics. It does not mean that Irish kids and English kids are taught in schools same "facts" about their troublesome common history. And if needed, border checks are returned in a week's time.

4. Albanians will drown in their nationalism.

I looked those stats and albanians were in 1910 about 50 % in the vilayet of ioannina and Vilayet of Kosovo also around 50%
But have in mind 32 years earlier Serbs were 400.000 only in Kosovo as albanians were 150.000!

Vilayet of Monastir Macedonians/Serbs were the majority 85% and Albanians were only 100.000 including parts of eastern albanian (Elbasan/Korcha etc).
Vilayet of Shkoder 50/50 Serb/Albanian

And before the Turks or in the ottoman empire it didn't matter if u were from Serbia/Bulgaria/Thracia/Macedonia/Greece/Bosnia/Romania (Serb/Slavs)
