29/35 milk over safe levels in one set of tests - what about other milk products eg yoghurts, creams, cheeses all of which are made from the same milk ?

Kudos to Goran Ješić, though few Serbs are likely to have seen his twitter account and fewer retailers likely to be proactive!

As I said in a previous article, its time for politicians to start enforcing food safety regulations. I get my milk and other dairy products from a Roma guy in my neighborhood and I'm pretty sure his goats are legit

Consumers should be aware of what they eat and drink. And consumers have more power than they think. Don't like a product or don't trust it? Don't buy it! Hit fraudulent producers where it hurts them the most: in their wallet. And people who mess around with food safety should be locked up for a long time.

Double the Croatian levels of Aflatoxin and yogurt is almost safe, it's completely safe 2nd day from the day of production. Sour Milk is safe as the cheeses based on acidic environment. It's relatively easy to degrade Aflatoxin M1.

Our problem is not M1, our problem are B1, B2, G1 and G2. Most common and most dangerous to us is B1, this is the big father of a "baby M1", B? is what Croatian cows have been eating.

Find yourself Flavobacterium aurantiacum which is easy to "cultivate" in your kitchen and never ask this question again.

If few adequate seminars were made for our farmers before and if simplest visual inspection of the crops have been made before feeding the cows we'd never learn about existence of Aflatoxin in milk today.

You don't ask about milk and milk products, you better watch that Corn flour Proja and Kacamak are made of, there's "B" of which you'll get cancer. Peanuts from China are grown in moisture and warm, don't buy that. Throw away everything it looks micro fungal (except Roquefort) from your house and "buy corn to make that flour".. If you do this for fun, you'll realize that you're gaining great control yourself.

That stupid governments we have.

B92 and media generally should help and give some power to a people.
