So, this obviously means that I would not cleanse all Albanians from Kosovo but rather the radial element and of course the ones who do not belong there but belong in their mother country, Albania.
(Peggy, 19 February 2013 03:54)

Luckily enough you will never be in a position to decide anything about Kosovo - that's why Kosovo became independent because there are people like you in Serbia.

Citizens in civilized countries are not "cleansed" but, if they commit a crime, they are prosecuted with due process of law and jailed, if appropriate.

"???!!!! Not sure what that has to do with anything I said "

I'm sure Vuk felt the same way and not only Vuk.

Is there a law prohibiting me reformulating or even a double reformulation of your post to an answer i'd like to give? Even if it don't flow logically it still is an indisputable fact what I have written and most certainly cannot be disputed or challenged?

My statement was not incorrect, therefore it is correct.

Now is a man/woman to cite and be governed by stupidity or is he/she to think and be true to him/herself.

First of all I have stated previously that I think there are many Albanians in Kosovo who do not share KLA views and some have even suffered for that. So, this obviously means that I would not cleanse all Albanians from Kosovo but rather the radial element and of course the ones who do not belong there but belong in their mother country, Albania.

I don't need to tour Bosnia or anywhere. I do believe that ethnic cleansing happened and it happened to all.
I know of many refugees here in Australia who have come from different parts of former Yugoslavia. I have heard their recollections and know from their accounts at least some of what happened to them and their families, so thanks for offering to put me up with your relatives but I really don't need it.
Do you think that I am that ignorant of what went on? I acknowledge that all sides committed crimes and all criminals should be punished but we don't live in a world where all crimes are equal and all victims are equal. The Muslims who were ethnically cleansed from predominately Serb areas seem to be more valuable than the Serbs who were cleansed from Muslim areas. What happened to all the Serbian homes in Sarajevo and around? Who lives there now? You guessed it, the Muslims. Where did those Muslims come from? I can assure you that Serbian homes around Sarajevo are not empty but have been taken by someone.

Maybe it's you who needs to tour some areas and see just how many Serbs were expelled from Bosnia and Croatia.

Kostunica is indeed correct - Legally, Kosovo cannot be removed from Serbia. International ruling on legitimacy is a legal word-play, truly a game, but international laws were indeed broken when Albanians declared independence. Not sure how independent they really are....

They had full freedom of movement, didn't have to live in ghettos behind barbed wire, didn't need 24/7 protection at their religious sites, didn't get attacked simply for speaking their language, life was good

It appears Vojislav's clock has stopped in 2008. That issue was clarified at Vuk's insistence and the ICJ said that "the declaration of independence of 17 February 2008 did not violate general international law, Security Council resolution 1244 (1999)".
(icj1, 17 February 2013 20:29)

Non State actors are not governed by international law and by extension if you are not governed by that law you just ain't recognised as international.
(Lionel Hutz, 18 February 2013 03:15)

???!!!! Not sure what that has to do with anything I said - I do certainly know that Lionel Hutz is not a subject of international law, but that was not what our dear friend Vojislav was speaking about. Vojislav was saying that Kosovo's declaration of independence violated the UN charter and UNSCR 1244. The ICJ at Vuk's insistence said that "the declaration of independence of 17 February 2008 did not violate general international law, Security Council resolution 1244 (1999)" thus contradicting what Vojislav said. The only law that Kosovo's declaration of independence violated was the Serbia law for which Serbia is free to prosecute the authors of that act if it so wishes.

"Romantic or not, that's what should happen."

So you, Peggy, are demanding the ethnic cleansing of Kosovo? You would like to dispel all Albanians from there? Is that correct or did I misunderstand you? Can you please clarify?

"Now Fikret, what do you call the ethnic cleansing being done by Albanians now? This is not war but peace time. So is this ethnic cleansing romantic?"

I have repeatetly condemned Albanian attacks against Serbs and I have repeatetly demanded an improvement of their situation. As a matter of fact, places like the burnt down quarter of Prizren are not unfamiliar to me at all. I've been there, I've seen it, I despise what I saw.

Now here's a serious question: Have you also visited any of the places that were ethnically cleansed in former YU? If you would like to, I can take you on a tour to eastern Bosnia so we can see what happened there together. I will gladly call friends & family (both Bosniaks & Serbs) there to show us around. You're invited to stay with my relatives for free during this time.
