Only opposition wants to destabilize current government. They force early election in order to show that government doesn't have power for all tasks. They want to stop Serbia to move forward just to hide their inability in previous period.

EA, in reply: everyone likes to make their comment, but nobody wants to step up. Serbia needs someone from the outside, whose heart is Serbian, not neccessarily in politics, but willing to give it a go. Anything is possible with the right attitude. If i'm to be the first, then so be it. So, have i got the GUTS?

For once he talked some sense. But whats this about early elections? Every time there are elections the country goes 'on hold' for at least a year. A full year of wasted time. we are quick to blame politicians but who puts them where they are today? We all do. It is us to blame because time and time again we fall for their pre-election bullshit and populist talk. It's not going to be any different this time or next time until we put people in power who genuinely belong in the posts they occupy.

What more can i add, Winston? Your comment is priceless. Too many parties run by people from the old school. No one has vision and direction to lead Serbia. As i said before, Serbia is on the slide, until someone with GUTS comes forth. I keep shaking my head with disappointment.

According to him, Nikolic, early elections would bring new distribution of power and that it would be visible who deserved even greater trust in the government. Yes, and that is the reason there should be elections held immediately. There is a lot of mistrust by the people in the current government, and the elections would eliminate some of the individuals that possibly not worthy of being in office. Cleaning up Serbian politics, and getting rid of the old corrupt political players that have done havoc to Serbia and brought it to its knees, is a lot more important than any EU talks date. The EU is not going away, joining that Union will exist, even if elections are held now. If the talk date does not happen in June, so what? Serbian citizens deserve a clean government first of all, the rest is icing. On a personal note, what is Dacic, a communist/socialist from Milosevic's day, a man that swore allegiance to Slobodan and Mira Markovic, doing in the current government? Is it only me, or is this insane? He is a man that backed Milosevic's agenda whole-heartedly, was for his part responsible for the demise of Serbia, and now he is going to help lead Serbia into the EU - which he looked at as evil enemy 13/14 years ago? Get out! That's all I can say.
