You wouldn't have to meet with Slobos friends if Kosovo was truly independent, now would you?

Explain to us which of those states has the majority of all EU, European and even UN member countries on his side. Kosovo will happily keep that state than rather been a Serbian province, while blocking with his allies Serbia for all eternity outside EU.

Wake up, we dont even want to hear about the EU so we will block you from being independent from now on and til eternity.

Next stop, formally recognizing Kosova as a state. The international community gets the last word. I mean we have to meet with slobos friend every month because of outside pressure.

Yes, the illusion spread by Pristina that Kosovo is a normal state like 197 others in the world - and not a disputed territory/unrecognized state (like some dozen others in the world: Taiwan, Northern Cyprus, South Ossetia, Western Sahara...)

Showing totally how they are not opposing Kosovo independence in any way. This does not oppose Kosovo independence. Where is it and why won't they change the constitution already

ops, you forgot to mention Palestine that Serbia recognizes, but has no embassy there, including other countries. Lets not even bother with South Ossetia or Abhkazi that you forgot to mention as well.

Since the formation of such an association is allowed for under the Ahtisaari plan, this shouldn't pose any real problem. What Serbia decides to call the arrangement is up to them.
(Amer, 14 February 2013 15:29)

It's a good place to start, but I think Serbia is pushing for something more. Ahtisaari basically creates fertile ground for cantonization and zero possibility for unified sovereignty, which is what Serbia seems to want, and as long as whatever is decided can be interpreted in whatever manner everyone wants to see it as - enhanced Ahtisaari for those in favor of Kosovo's statehood; autonomy within autonomy for those opposed - it's something that should have been considered years ago. Who knows? Kosovo can be the most interpretive piece of abstract art in Europe :)

“With this we will guarantee preservation of our constitutional and legal position and leave room to Priština to preserve its political and legal fiction about its current status,” Đurić explained.

legal fiction about its current status???
In case you did not know, there are foreign embassies located in Prishtina just like in Belgrade. I don't see any fiction here. ALL countries and not provinces, have foreign embassies located at its capital.
