So, the truth is hard to accept by Serbs. But, the truth IS the Albanians have first claim on the Balkans. History proves that.
========================
Can we have some actual proof and not just your word?
You Albanians have been asked over and over and over to provide proof or your claims and to this day NOTHING. Nothing, except your word.
So either cough up some proof of shut the hell up for once. We are all sick of your cr@p.

2500 YEARS before Christ, Albanians were part of ILLYRIA who was ruled by many kings(BardhYllus and the Popular Queen Teuta). Illyria stretched from what is now southern Austria and all the way down to Northern Greece and almost 1500 miles East into the Balkans. Serbs and all Slavics migrated south from Russia between 500-700ad. Albanians have been in the Balkans before any other nationality (for over 5,000 years now). All Slavic people now this to be true in their own history.

What is very interesting is that they still claim Kosovo because they lost a battle to the Turks there. Albanians have been living in Kosovo for over 5,000 years -- 3,000 years before the Serbs migrated to the Balkans!

So, the truth is hard to accept by Serbs. But, the truth IS the Albanians have first claim on the Balkans. History proves that.

So, good luck to all the people of the Balkans. Peace is the only way to solve things and besides, we are all from the same family; we are ALL children of God. Stop fighting. God Bless you all.

I did not see Kosova in the maps. Where is "Kosova"?
(Bugaf from Skoplje, 13 February 2013 16:47)

Area characteristics bounded in time are very difficult to be considered and published by serious map makers.

Ardi, why don't all Albanians just go back to their own state, Albania, and stop creating problems across the Balkans? All the land Albanians profess to be theirs, is not theirs. If Albos are unhappy in Presevo, or Macedonia, or Montenegro, or wherever, go back to Albania. Berisha will have open arms to welcome you all back. That would be a good solution, Albos back in their homeland, and the rest of the Balkans can breathe some fresh air from Albo terror.

Same story., now they'll try to separate from "Kosova", I mean sure.

You are to blind to see it, and you are just across the border. Shame on you, but more shame on your doctor for not writing the proper eye prescription.

and last but not least to Milosevic and his politics.

please do tell us what politics he is responsible for when albos have been killing Serbs long before Milosevic came to power. Is he suppose to sit by and let more and more Serbs get killed by albo terrorists?

"Is he suppose to sit by and let more and more Serbs get killed by albo terrorists?"
(???, 13 February 2013 17:14)

No, he was supposed to fight terrorist with the means of constitutional state, i.e. police arresting suspects and putting them on trial before a court. This doesn't include sending special police and paramilitaries who were looting whole villages and killing whole families where a terrorist was hiding.

For this reason, the organizations gathering former KLA members will mark the day independently, "outside the institutions".

Hey hey hey! That's a blatant display of "parallel institutions!" I expect Rexhepi to fully complain about the lack of respect for Kosovo's law and order! If there's going to be a large sheet cake to step on and gorge from, it's going to be the officially sanctioned and internationally legal cake :)

The decision to exclude them, they said, "shows subservience to the international community institutions", while the KLA is seen as "a thorn in the side".

That's basically how it's been since 1999. When you start a conflict, get blown to next week in retaliation, run to and beg for assistance from the "international community institutions" and then proceed to ride into Pristina on their coattails proclaiming victory for the Albanian cause and subsequently use every and any opportunity to harass Serbs and undermine peace efforts, being considered a "thorn in their side" is a gross understatement :)

Interesting that throughout the entire article they mention not a single source for where this story came from. "kla members". More fantasy created by Beta.

The former members of the now disbanded group also said that they "did not do so willingly, but were forced to because state institutions were circumventing those who, with their efforts, sacrifice, body parts and lives, contributed the most to the proclamation of independence of the republic of Kosovo".

So these KLA 'freedom fighters' think they contributed most to the independence of Kosovo? Funny, somehow. I think this 'honor' should go to the international powers - and last but not least to Milosevic and his politics.

"but were forced to (exclude themselves from UDI celebrations) because state institutions were circumventing those who, with their efforts, sacrifice, body parts and lives, contributed the most to the proclamation of independence of the republic of Kosovo". Well, I am not sure that all the body parts are from former KLA members, what about the organs that were extracted by certain KLA members from captured prisoners? As for the KLA being shunned by the Pristina authorities, I'm not sure how they (KLA) see it that way, as most of the high ranking officials in Pristina are former members of that separatist group? Could it be that the West would like to keep the KLA on the back burner, since they have been, and are receiving, some pretty bad press as of late?
