Well, they shouldn't. Decani monks sheltered Albanians during that time. Many Decani monks speak flawless Albanian, I'm told.
(Danilo, 11 February 2013 15:38)

Decani monks also speak flawless English, French, German and Russian and it is due to their beliefs that they should help a human being regardless of their nationality unlike the Albanian rabble in Kosovo.

The actual fact that Albanians are hell bent on stealing 23 hectares of land from a major cultural land mark, just goes to show what kind of mentality they have!

Do you honestly think that the West/NATO/USA is going to help you?! Since 1999 how many times have they had there fingers burnt Iraq, Afghanistan and now Syria.

Just remember the South Stream Pipeline that's coming through Serbia... You are a major security threat to this pipeline, and do you honestly think Russia wont do anything?! Plus its supplying your masters in the west and they wont give a damn about you lot when it comes to them getting gas!
Grow up, sit up at the table and talk! Its a waiting game Serbia can play and wait! Pristina can't everyday that passes with no progress is just more nails into your coffin!

We'll see, maybe KPS will, unfortunately, stand 'on the other end' of the land and don't see anything when these extremists do what they announced :)

So says the taunt of those who think they have covered their tracks well.
Deny all you want, I am sure it is very uncomfortable to the average Serb to know that it was their brethren that committed these heinous crimes as outlined by the ICTY and even mentioned in Dick Marty's report.
"In the Kosovo conflict, the ethnic Albanian population suffered horrendous violence as the result of an insane ethnic cleansing policy on the part of the dictator then in power in Belgrade. None of these historical events could be cast in doubt today"
I do not think it is the Albanians nor any one else in the world that should be apologizing. Certaninly those who had the guts to act with or without the blessing of Russia.

New day- ahh poor you. Are you still looking for those mass graves you lied about ? thats right, keep looking. Even NATO satellites found nothing. NOTHING. The Red Cross, Amnesty all the NGOs categorically state there were less than 10000 casualties, with almost 40pct Serb but with only 12 % of the population. And a lot of the Albanians killed were by the KLA because they were suspected of being friendly with Serbs. Figure it out. You should be begging for forgiveness. Instead you have the front to continue with your lies. Pathetic and sad.

Serbia claims that their hold on Kosovo is it is the cradle of their religion.
The ICTY says:
"
In Dečani municipality, immediately to the south of Peć, similar events transpired in
the village of Beleg at the end of March 1999. There the Kosovo Albanian residents were
rounded up by police and VJ personnel, including reservists, in the course of which some
men were killed. A large group of predominantly Kosovo Albanian women and children was
detained and mistreated: some of the women were sexually assaulted; and some men were
physically abused. The next day most of the people from the group were ordered to go to
Albania, and those who remained have not been heard from since."

Now why in the world would the people from Decani have a problem with a Serbian monastery there????
13 years is a long time but probably not if it was your father, son, brother murdered or if it was your mother, sister, daughter or self, sexually abused or if you still do not know the whereabouts of a loved one who stayed.

He noted that he was concerned about their announcement that they would usurp the monastery’s land despite the decision of the Supreme Court of Kosovo.

The court determined that 23 hectares belonged to the monastery and ruled against two companies who claimed that the land belonged to them.

There is no excuse for the behavior of these extremists. The Court has ruled that the land belongs to the monks and the monastery and so it should remain. Respect the court, respect the rule of law.

Very stupid of these "extremists" to issue threats towards one of the most protected and important sites in Kosovo. How many are there? A dozen or two? What do they hope to accomplish in the face of a EULEX-sponsored ruling that is based on previously agreed terms in the Ahtisaari Plan? Sorry kids, that part of Kosovo might be 99% Albanian, but almost 99% of that 99% is at least smart enough to realise the 1% largely located in Decani and Pec monasteries gets nearly 100% of international attention and support.

Take your case to Pristina and throw rocks at Thaci who's curiously quiet about the ruling, not the monks and not especially the Italian KFOR soldiers who've proven on more than one occasion they don't take Albanian provocations lightly :)

Do you wrelly think that northern Kosova serbs have won somthing by the passive actions of Kosova goverment and Kfor in 2011?? You must be a fool if you think that.

It would be no problem for Prishtina to take out those serbian cowardly criminal snipers. But if we did Serbia would portrait them as civilians who "got killed only because they were serbs". It was The Serbian trap but Thaci were smarter than you serbs and backed down. He diden't went in The Serbian trap as you wished.

It would be easy to take out Serbian security structures from northern Kosova but it wouldent solve the problem in favor of us Albanians. In fact then it would have been an violent occupation and The serb population there would have been defensive and impossible to integrate.

But you Ari Gold should not be to happy. As you know there is an border between Kosova and Serbia agreed from both sides. You can try to locate northern Kosova and see on wich side of the border it is located.

Milosevic occupyed Kosova with military and killed many Albanians . But as you know this way Serbia losted Kosova forever. An stupid action from an stupid proud heroic Serb.

I can not understand how some albanians are not tired of conflict. Isn't it better to focus on making your own lives better then making threats to a church and its 4-5 monks. I also do not understand one thing, why don't the Albanians that disagree with their own courts' decision, not go in front of the court building, and protest there? What do they want in front of the monastery and the monks? But really, what do some of these Albanians respect, anyway? Why is it that they cannot accept a decision that is unfavorable to them? Do it always have to be the way they see it? What is the sense of having a government, laws, and courts? It's one thing to protest, but to threaten is quite another.

Such cowards. I've truly never see bigger cowards than Albanian nationalists. They want to run up on 4-6 Monks in Decani when Mitrovica is still free from Albanian occupation and they are doing what with that? Asking KFOR to handle it, asking USA to treat Presevo like the Panama Canal (how the hell does that even make sense, you can call that Hoxha logic).

Anytime there are fully grown males ready and able to defend themselves the Albanians cower and run away. Only act tough when you deal with seniors, women, religious figures.. people who don't or can't fight back.

Just to put in perspective, the Mitrovica Serbs didn't even have the backing of their own state and they wiped the floor with the failed Albanian invasion in July 2011 and the terrorists haven't been back since.

One of the guys on here compare this with the March 2004 Islamist pogrom. You can truly see the primitive nature of these 'people'.

Comm.Parison, your northern Mitro compatriot businessmen don't obey neither the Belgrade laws, nor those of Prishtina. What clan do they belong to? The Zemun clan perhaps?

Take a deeper look at your own hotheads. Pointing fingers and never looking inwards, I'm starting to believe is the trait of almost every Serb out there.

I wish B92 would go into a bit more detail and explain why this Albanian group of protestors believe that the land belongs to them, and not the monastery, that I am sure has been there a bit longer than them. And what do they think, that KFOR will allow them to take this church property, with no reactions? What kind of people are we dealing with here? I

The Red Cross, Amnesty all the NGOs categorically state there were less than 10000 casualties, with almost 40pct Serb but with only 12 % of the population. Just remember the South Stream Pipeline that's coming through Serbia... You are a major security threat to this pipeline, and do you honestly think Russia wont do anything?! Plus its supplying your masters in the west and they wont give a damn about you lot when it comes to them getting gas!
