You give Serbs a bad name. I am embarrassed by your comments and condemn them. Most Serbs do not think the way you do. You must live in the diaspora, with little contact with Serbs living in Serbia other than thru chat groups such as this one on B92. Please tone down you rhetoric, you are making the rest of us look bad. How can you live in the U.S.,knowing how well off you are there, and speak so poorly of it. I am sure you went there looking for employment and found it. What an ingrate you are.
(Marko K., 9 February 2013 12:26)

Wrong... The CE of the B92 forums sj lives in the Malaysian paradise and does not follow the millions of ignorants who choose to emigrate to the US which, according to his/her analysis, has collapsed, but the world, being ignorant, continues to fail to understand that.

sj has excellent sources of information in Malaysia which are unbiased (unlike the Western evil media) and has access to global high level meetings and secrets that the B92 audience has the privilege to learn before the rest of the world. Not to mention that sj can also rely on the advice of his/her legendary Malaysian friend for information and insights on world affairs.

So you should be really honored to have such a CE in these forums and for the privilege of reading his/her comments for free. If I were B92, I'd make sj's comments available on a pay-per-view basis given their immense value and the profit that people can make out of them.

P.S. CE = Chief Economist

I can honestly do nothing but laugh at this suggestion: K. Albanians will be going to Serbia to look for work, when Serbia has an unemployment problem of its own to deal with and where the average wage is 350EURO's a month! seriously, don't stop, I love reading your deluded comments. yes, i've seen serbia's foreign office website, they're inviting non Serbs to boost Serbia's ever growing economy!

How many have migrated to your crap hole in the last year? I missed the part how US industry is moving to Kosovo soon. LOL, LOL But if you see it any different enlighten us all when the EU is going to open their doors and allow you to seek work there??????
I don’t want to kick you out at all. On the issue of bankruptcy, the US would open an office in Belgrade to deal with all the drugs coming out of the Balkans, but alas they can’t afford to do that and the United States is passing around the hat begging for money. What do you think the EU is planning? Release them into the EU to look for work? Yeah and you will wait in line with Tinker Bell to get a job.
This where you Albanians get carried away and think that the EU will continue to subsidize you forever.
Serbia is attacking investment from outside and it will continue to do so and as this happens more and more job opportunities will open up where it will come to a point in time where Serbia needs outsiders to fill those positions.
However, as you see things differently explain to me how Kosovo will stay afloat. How will it earn money to pay for police, teachers, judiciary?????? What industry will it attract to relocate to Kosovo????
I leave you a blank canvass please draw me a picture.

" Kosovo has a 90% ethnic Albanian pop. but they are different kind to Albania. "

Indeed, there are major differences between Albanians from Kosovo & Albania. I'm not saying this because I have bad feelings against either side. In fact I had great times in Albania & in Kosovo and I was overwhelmed by the hospitality in both places. But there is a clear cultural difference. No doubt about it.

It’s the Patriarch’s business to talk of loving one another and reconciliation, unlike that pedophile protecting Pope in Rome. Yes these losers want to quiet this down because they see no successful end to their misery and hope to see employment in Serbia proper, but it’s all over boys as Brotherhood and Unity is as dead as a united Bosnia.
I don’t profess to speak for any other Serb here but I can’t stomach the thought of another cobbled up Yugoslavia where the Serbs have to pour money into a cess pit like Kosovo as in the past.
The Albanians wanted this then they can live in it.

As an Albanian from Albania, this is a positive messaging coming from someone with such authority, as we all know for us Orthodox religion does play a significant part. That being said messages from Church leaders are often adhered too. I do hope there is reconciliation between Albanians and Serbs, for the sake of our future. I do hope this is a sincere message from the Patriarch.

P.S you people need to understand that Albania Albanians are very neutral when it comes to Serbs. We were NOT at war with them, nor were they with us. Kosovo is different. Yes Kosovo has a 90% ethnic Albanian pop. but they are different kind to Albania. So don't confuse us. Kosovan Albanians have reasons to dislike Serbs, we Albanians do not.

I am Dutch and have absolutely nothing to do with Serbian people or the balkans in the slightest. What i do have however is a long study of all sides in the balkan behind me. I've seen and heard all the stories and versions and that's that.

Now here you are calling me a Serb as if it's an insult for the simple reason that i'm stating an opinion you do not agree with. And for some incredibly wicked reason you are stating that i for some reason support Serbian war criminals? I'm not entirely sure where you got that from, but neither do i understand why Albanians remove anti nazi monuments to protest against the fact that they are not allowed to break international and national law.

If Irinej should appologize for crimes commited by other serbs then you could start appologizing for all the crimes commited by albs throughout history. You can begin with appologizing for siding with the nazies, for poisoning Europe with your drugs and human trafficking, not to mention organ harvesting and crimes commited by the uck. You may also appologize to the american families to the soilders killed by albanian extremists in resent years. And you honestly thought you talialbanians are all innocent and noble.

It appears that the Albanians were right all along and that the Serbs are nothing but a source of intolerance and (religious) hatered.

Right?

Oh wait, the USA that actually plotted the downfall of Serbia is all of a sudden pro Serbia's EU entry, the EU agrees with Serbia on many important issues while taking notice of their fantastically positive attitude in the region and outside of it, the EU accepted a resolution stating they want to give Serbia accession talk dates as soon as possible, the Serbian government backs plans to name a street after the Serbian boy who saved a Bosniak's life and had to pay with his life for it to his own countrymen, and now the -patriarch- (yes, the actual equivalent of the Pope but the serbian one) is expressing hope for the reconcilation between Serbs and Albanians.

OK, so let’s take it one step back and analyze this. Historically we all know that intolerance and religious beliefs (influenced by people like this dude) in Serbia were the reasons that brought down your ‘precious’ country. Religious heads in Serbian still rule and make all the decisions, politically or otherwise.

Your story about saving a life is a beautiful thing, and I applaud him for that, but how about hundreds of thousand others that your folk have killed and do not any have regret for it at ALL?!

Ooh please, you guys are so one sided. I'd like to see some Albanian leader (religious or not) come out and speak of reconciliation. As for Serbs apologizing for past deeds, lets fast forward to the present.. Desecrated cemeteries and systemic ethnic harassment on the part of our Albanian "brothers", no comment there eh..

You Albanians act as if Serbs owe you everything, but to me it seems like all Serbs do is reach out in the name of peace and reconciliation... Like a little kid who doesn't get what he wants.

Oh how the mighty windbags gave fallen.

...Serbian Patriarch Irinej stated in Prizren on Thursday that he hopes that Serbs and Albanians "will reconcile soon and live together as brothers"....

Wow!
Good finally a good word from SOC,because until yesterday they were talking like there were no albanians in Kosovo.
Change is good,as for timing better later than never.

Oh yeah? How about you tell us who these Serbs are who are ashamed to say they are Serbs?
As far as I can see, none of us have ever claimed we are not Serbs, even though I was accused of it and the person making the allegation never managed to prove it.

oh dear, you honestly believe Serbia is a good place to be going to to look for work? the same Serbia that itself has an unemployment problem? the same Serbia that is having its minsters describe its economy in catastrophic shape? that serbia? yes, its no only Albanians who are flocking to Serbia to look for jobs, its Greeks, Spaniards, Italians, French and all others...we're all going to Serbia, the El Dorado of Europe and the World. surprised serbia hasn't issued calls for migrant workers to come fill their labour shortages, thats how well its doing economically

@ virgil

Albanians from Albania neutral to the Serb vs Ethnic Albanian Issues?

Speak for yourself because that is a false general statement. I am not neutral, and obviosly most Albanians (excluding virgil) have the best interest of their Ethnic Albanian kin from all Ethinc Albanian lands.

Irinej is a difficult person to judge. I'm never quite sure if I should regard him as a conservative traditionalist or a moderate reformer.

Albanians are atheists at heart and switch religions to benefit themselves. He is doing a lot of wishful thinking that won't really bear fruit. Only a small percentage of Albanians get along with Serbs and even most of them will be intimidated away by pressure from other Albanians.

"...hope to see employment in Serbia proper..."

missed this bit. yes, we're going to seek employment in Serbia, because Serbia's economy is doing so well, that it is in need of outside labour :-)...Serb ministers are not having to pledge that their country is not about to go bankrupt :-)

The wink is all mine.
