Serbian town scraps deal with U.S.-Dutch oil company

The town of Smederevo on Wednesday moved to terminate its contract with the Comico Oil company, the local authorities announced.

Maybe a case of shooting oneself in the foot. The potential of 500 jobs to a community? After all if the land is set up for other investors of other projects, unless they have one that is interested they may be looking at years or decades before anything else is seen.
