There is a sentence: Be close to your friends but be closer to your enemies. That is the answer to everybody who want to state that Serbia recognized Kosovo as a independent country.

Not a single un state has an embassy in Kosovo, or otherwise can you give me an adresse to a building that clearly states that it is an embassy of any un state in Pristina? There are no official embassies in either of the provinces you named. China is a un member so I dont really know why you mix China with all these puppet "states".
(Daniel, 6 February 2013 09:19)

Can you give me one single name of a person that is officially stated as an Ambassador in Pristina by any UN state?Just one name?Thats right, I didn´t think so.
(Daniel, 6 February 2013 09:22)

You wanted the name and the address so here it is. I'll give you two as an example.

Mr Lorant Balla, Ambassador
Hungarian Embassy in Pristina, Kosovo
Rr. 24. Maji 23
Arberia
Pristina
Kosovo

Mr Stojan Karajanov, Ambassador
Macedonian Embassy in Pristina, Kosovo
24 Maj, no. 121
Arberia
Pristina
Kosovo

18 more UN states have embassies in Pristina, similar to the amount of embassies in Podgorica, Montenegro.

The People's Republic of China is a UN State however the Republic of China is not a UN state. 18 UN members have an Embassy in the Republic of China.

However I wouldn't expect you to know any of this, you are quite clearly ignorant and lack knowledge on such matters.

Can you name a single UN state which doesn't have an embassy in at least one the following?
Kosovo, Palestine, Republic of China, Abkhazia, South Ossetia.
The only UN country I could think of was Bhutan.

Every country in the world at least de facto accepts that Kosovo is an independent country, even Russia and Serbia accept this.
If Kosovo isn't independent, then why is Serbia making a big fuss? And why did they take Kosovo to the ICJ?

Serbia is making a big fuss because the albanians try to take a big piece of someone elses ancient history and territory and thats the reason why they were taken to the ICJ.

Only countries recognized by the UN can have embassys, but that doesnt seem to matter to you right?
(Daniel, 5 February 2013 19:35)

Oh, dear, some people have real comprehension problems here.... THERE IS NO COUNTRY THAT HAS OR WILL EVER BE RECOGNIZED BY THE UN, at least until the UN charter changes (good luck with that). Please read what Vuk's UN has to say on the matter http://www.un.org/en/members/about.shtml

Only countries recognized by the UN can have embassys, but that doesnt seem to matter to you right? When will you get it through your thick head that Kosovo isnt independent? And no with an EU building they mean people that work for EU missions that are stationed in Pristina, it has nothing to do with any kind of embassy whatsoever.

You have just made up that statement about having to be recognised by the UN to have embassies. Here is why.

1) The UN doesn't have the Capacity to recognise a country.
2) The UN has never recognised a county.
3) Almost every UN state in the world has an embassy in a country whose legitimacy is considered "disputed".

Can you name a single UN state which doesn't have an embassy in at least one the following?
Kosovo, Palestine, Republic of China, Abkhazia, South Ossetia.
The only UN country I could think of was Bhutan.

So don't make up stupid foolish facts.

And by an "EU building" they mean an EU country's embassy to Kosovo.

Why are you Albanians so desperate to call this liaison an ambassador? He is in Pristina to make sure Albanians stick to the agreements that were made in Brussels. There are no Serbian embassies in Pristina, no Serbian ambassadors or diplomats therefore. Give it a rest, you cannot force things to happen with your dreams.

Sorry, Koso, there will be no exchange of diplomats between Belgrade and Pristina. Read to story again please. As for speaking Shpiq, he does not need to, he will be working in an EU building, as there are no Serbian embassies in Pristina. If your comments were not so desperate, they would be funny.
(winston, 5 February 2013 02:33)

And by an "EU building" they mean an EU country's embassy to Kosovo. A bit like the US's interests office inside the Swiss Embassy to Iran. And this boy scout will be engaging in diplomacy, he will be Pristina's first point of contact with Belgrade and vice versa with whoever Pristina allocates to Belgrade.

At least they're sending an incompetent ambassador instead of well articulated Oliver Ivanoviq; heck he's even well versed in Shqip.

He says that he won't be a diplomatic ambassador, what did you say? Your credentials will be reviewed by the President???

With Serbia under dacic and nikolic one of the leading supporters of Kosovo independence in the world this ambassador appointment says to all nations that they should recognize Kosovo independence like Serbia has.
