PM says "there's no serious reason for govt. to fall"

Serbia's PM Ivica Dačić, who also serves as interior minister, has admitted to meeting with <a href="http://www.b92.net/eng/news/politics-article.php?yyyy=2013&mm=02&dd=02&nav_id=84481" class="text-link" target= "_blank">Rodoljub Radulović</a> on several occasions.

The prime minister specified that the meetings took place "four or five years ago", and added that he "never helped Radulović out".

Did he mention the reasons for holding these meetings, by chance? I guess not. And the fact that 'journalist were not allowed to ask questions' says a lot. Something fishy there in the state of Serbia with its honorable politicians.

"Journalists invited to the press conference were not allowed to ask any questions."

This is not a press conference, there is no conference when one person does all the talking, and won't be questioned it is simply a lecture before media.

I find it odd that the leader of the Socialist Party is complaining to someone about police harassment. Your party invented it my dear, and you were the interior minister when all of this was going on

I have yet to hear one Serbian politician say "yes I did it, I am guilty", when accused of some wrong doing. Dacic is no different. Let's see how this all plays out. Who needs reality TV, when we have a government like this in Belgrade.

Why make it serbian? Only the last 6 months in the netherlands we had more corruption cases than Serbia, and last week wwe had a newly appointed minister who purposefully held back 'hurtful' reports about our railways. About 2 months ago also there were gun fights in the streets of amsterdam with Kalashnikovs, with multiple dead. There are often gun battles in other places in the netherlands too.

"Only in serbia" is a uneducated and typically western arrogant 'we are better than them although i refuse to take the proof that we arent' attitude that is poisonous to many though mainly yourself.

Politics per definition is "gaining power and space that really doesnt belong to you" by things such as rephrasing the same thing no one wants to hear until everyone heard it in a way that does not cause them to rise out of their chair angrily. And therefore i think though perhaps Dacic is also on the list of scum, he is the one that made Serbia be the better man in the monument conflict amongst others.

I'm wondering why the headlines of B92 differ so decisively between the Serbian and the English version.

We here since weeks that the governments perpetuates to be stable. That is nothing new, nor interesting. What's interesting is that Dacic today admitted that he had contacts to Serbian Mafia. That should be highlighted, not Ivica's meaningless and defensive claims.

What a load of bunk! If anybody knew it was going to be the Interior Minister, never mind the fact that any informed person could make their own conclusions.

No doubt Dacic didn't know about Peconi when taking money from him. I'd say this, don't be surprised if Miskovic is somehow working behind the scenes. Dacic took money from him and has now left him out to dry claiming he has no authority on the corruption issue. Or perhaps Dacic has promised Miskovic that he will use his influence to reduce charges against him in the courts...

Fact is that Dacic is one of the most corrupt Prime Minister's we've had in recent years. Thankfully he's not ruling on his own, or he'd be taking away what remains of the loot as we speak.
