"The police’s job is to protect all state officials from meetings with suspects. "

Strange idea of what the police's job is.

So, if Dacic didn't know that Radulovic was a criminal/drug mafia member, what has been the reasons to meet with him at all? For having some small talk with an ordinary citizen? Or arranging some deal with an honorable businessman? Absurd, Mr. Dacic, if you met this person, then admit it and don't come up with stupid excuses.

Those things can only happen in Serbia! In Kosovo, the ministers don't have to meet with drug lords - they are the drug lords themselves :)

'However, his closest associates told the daily that Dačić had not known four and a half years ago that Rodoljub Radulović was a criminal.'

In other words he's incompetent or a lier.

BTW, Winston, I agree with you. Most politicians in the Balkans are corrupt and should be tossed out. However, it will not happen.

and the plot thickens. The best thing that Serbia could do, is throw out each and every politician, minister, etc., simply throw them out of office to never come back, and start with a clean slate. If anyone has even one day experience holding public office is not allowed in the new government. Every single one of these current politicians is dirty, I just know it. You cannot be a career politician in Serbia, and be clean, impossible. No such animal exists.
