If it was reported impartially then sure you have a valid question. In the absence of that Serbs, people like Peggy and those that dug a bit deeper than being spoon-fed by hack journalism are going to have an opposing opinion.

"@ fikret I really don't understand why you come on this site! why do you worry so much about SRBIJA you should be worrying about your little federica"

This is fascinating. You read the name Fikret and automatically think any person with such a name must be a Bosniak from the Federation. This method sounds familiar. Wasn't that the way Serbian paramilitia sorted out people during the Bosnian war?

Sorry I have to disappoint you, but I'm neither an ethnically pure Bosniak, nor a believing Muslim, nor do I live in the Federation. My parents moved from Bosnia to Rijeka with me when I was five. A few years later we moved on to a tiny town in northwestern Germany. Therefore, feel free to call me a Yugoslav or a gypsy. Whatever. But please don't try to silence me just because you disagree.

Peggy, I agree the holocaust was a singular event that cannot be compared with anything in history.

That shouldn't be an excuse for other nations to deny historic guilt though. Now I'm not saying Serbians were the only guilty participants of the wars in former YU. Nevertheless war crimes and the involvement of Belgrade are a simple fact.

I cannot understand why admitting this is so difficult even for those who did not personally take part in any criminal acts during the YU wars. Why is there such a strong overidentification with nationality among Croats, Bosniaks, Serbs, Albanians?

Peggy

When will Serbs and their brethren acknowledge their atrocities committed during the 1990s in the former Yugo like Germans did/do/will continue to do in the future?

Dear Milorad (our Serbian brother). Yeah right.
When they invade Europe and kill six million Jews and are responsible for the death of a few more million around Europe.

Peggy

It would be better if some million of Serbians could prove the world wrong about harboring very open feelings to Milosevic - but they can't.

Right. Hitler kills six million Jews and Milosevic (unproven) kills a few Albanians.
Yes, you got it. They are practically identical.

What are you trying to say with your comment and link? Are you trying to draw some sort of comparison? If yes, what is it?

Germany hasn't changed at all. They still want to call the shots in Europe but have learned that Economically rather than militarily is the way to go.
They still have the same mates but this time they have added a few new ones.
Instead of regretting their past they have preserved it, learned from it and built on it.

A constant warning for what? That when the people have nothing and are angry they will act to take their country back?!?!?

Everyone should look into what the state of Germany was in prior to Hitler being elected. I say this humbly.

Merkel: Hitler's rise to power - constant warning

BERLIN -- German Chancellor Angela Merkel says that Adolf Hitler's rise to power should go on reminding Germans that democracy and freedom could not be taken for granted.

Germany's and Angela Merkel's super warm and cozy relations with the Croat Nazis and their war criminals speaks louder than Hitler ever did.

This is not the first time I heard this women hypocrite denounce Nazism and everything on this planet that is
associated with them.
Mrs. Merkel, you ABSOLUTELY have no credibility when you deliberately turn a blind eye to Croatia's
open WW2 Nazi activities. You have ABSOLUTELY no credibility when you are rushing those
non-repenting Concentration Camp-ers to the EU without demanding at the least a human being test for the many Nazi monsters and their offspring. Why is it that from the anti Nazi Serbs you demanded the moon and the stars--and still do, and from your Croats only nothing???

I am afraid that you and yours might be harboring secret feelings about Hitler like Berlusconi harbors open feelings about Mussolini. Prove me wrong woman! Here is your newest addition to your collection. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HsQ-eSveN6A

"'A dynamic society needs people who respect each other, who take responsibility for themselves and others, who make brave decisions and who are ready to accept criticism', the German chancellor said and pointed out that Germany was 'permanently responsible' for Nazi crimes."

At the same time, Merkel's government is demanding unmanned killer drones for the German Army. Hypocrisy at its best.
