Lets just say that look who lives in Kosovo today and that they are the bearers of their land and country. So another words they can run their own affairs and decide their future without advise from some country called Cyprus who is merely a disputed land between greeks and turks.

My goodness for a people who have "seperated" they sure are interested in what is going on in the country "they don't need". They sure want that country "they don't need anything from" to recognize them. They sure are worried about that country's European future. when they have a temper tantrum and cheer destruction of churches etc, its almost as if they are begging for our attention. Its so funny that even this visit from Cyprus caught their eye. The Kosovo separatists couldn't help commenting on it. They pay more attention to events in Belgrade than any one else.

It's you who doesn't understand the content of his postings.By naming the Republic "Greek Cyprus" you're following the tradition of Turks,Fyromians and Albanian alike to legitimatise the occupation of Cyprus. There is only one Cyprus and that is the "Republic of Cyprus" as recognised by the whole world minus Turkey.

Anvi

It will take many years for Albanians to reach the standard of living of Cyprus and I bet not in your lifetime.

"This "little island" attracts investments from many countries, especially Russia. "
(Dr. Michael Kourouklaris, 30 January 2013 13:49)

Investments? I would better call it money laundering via Cypriot banks by Russian tycoons.

Says an albainian who doesn't even have an economy. They say that if the greek economy continues to slide it will become another Albania.

To critisize the mouth that feeds millions of refugee albanians by the greeks is just showing how ungreatful you spoiled terrorists are. What you albanians deserve is another Miloseviq.

Just as Serbian (bankrupt) allies support Serbia and block Kosovo, Albanian allies will block Serbia. Diplomatic MAD...mutual assured destruction. Serbia can stay in total agony for the next decades or recognize reality today and move on. No matter what, Serbia will never ever join EU in those borders which she always suggest. Never..

Cheers!

Leonidas,

The problem with you is that you are not reading my comment properly......and not surprised not know how to reply....

Greek Cyprus equals Greek. Can't you understand that? I would not be upset if someone here writes Kosovo means/equals Albania. We are one nation. Full stop. When it comes to clearing a territory from criminals.....the diference between us is that I would not be selective as you wish ie give immunity to Greek or Serb criminals because Leonidas say so....Criminality knows no border or nationality. In your world they are outside Greece, Serbia or Greek Cyprus.....For you Papas is the real Greek. Enjoy him!.

FYI the name is Republic of Cyprus and not Greek one and your posting, as usual, shows that you haven't got a clue as far as the Cyprus problem is concerned. But then again I wouldn't expect an Albanian Kosovo settler not to support the Turkish settlers in Cyprus.

The Republic of Cyprus is the ONLY recognised entity by the UN whereas the occupied part is only recognised by Turkey. The Turkish Cypriots are simply Ankara's puppets and they will do what told to do.

Turkey's 38 year effort to legitimize Ethnic Cleansing and Ethnic Division has been an abject failure. Today, 38 years later, no nation except for Turkey recognizes TRNC. Numerous UN resolutions have called the continuing military occupation of north Cyprus as illegal and in violation of international law.

Now the juicy bit, as far as Kosovo is concerned it will be never recognised by Cyprus and Greece.

EA, Serbia will not recognize an independent Albanian Kosovo (Albanians were given their own country after WWI), and neither will Cyprus. You can direct your energy towards something more realistic, like cleaning Pristina up from the narco-terrorists that form the provincial government. You may then see some improvement in the standard of living of Albanians there.

Cyprus will be the very very last to be asked about Kosovo independence....Cyprus is Greek exluding Turkish part. Full stop. What is the size of Cyprus compare to Kosovo, its population....its cultural links with Greece....Serbia will be made to recognise Kosovo before Greek Cyprus, Romania, Slowakia and Spain do so. What a paradox to see Cyprus to lecturing international law.....

So called "little island" is vastly rich in oil and gas reserves, not to mention many other sources of wealth. This "little island" is a cross roads between Europe, Middle East and North Africa. Nearly half of the sovereign "little island" remains under Turkish occupation, following invasion of 1974. This "little island" attracts investments from many countries, especially Russia. This "little island" is named Cyprus, island of love and beauty. This "little island" is my ancestral home. A little respect please.
